I am new to town and have tried 2 other salons before Marble Nails. It was easy to make an appointment online, everyone was very nice and professional and it was clean. Not the same story for the other two salons that I tried. Glad to have found my new place. Pedicure

I came in to get my nails done and 3 days later the nails polish chipped on 4 different nails. I came in to show them and asked for them to fix it but I want a different polish because these two colors that I have on are both chipping. She said she would charge me 15 dollars to do a color change. Which would be fine if my current color wasn’t chipping. Why would i want to put the same colors on if the polish doesn’t seem to be of good quality. If I put the same color it’s going to chip again. She said it’s because I work and use my hands, that’s why it’s chipping. But I’ve been getting my nails done for 10 years and have worked the same job for years and never has my gel nail polish chipped so badly especially after 3 days. I have never experienced such mean service especially from the owner of a salon. I only went there instead of my usual spot because I was on that side of town and had to get them done before work. But I should have just waited.

The girls we booked with where not there even though we had a 8:30 appointment. After a few calls asking where they were 45 minutes later one showed up. They never asked how hot I wanted the water (they made it boiling hot, ouch). They only did nail care on one foot cause they kept talking and forgot about the other foot. When she did my French tips that were full of bubbles and didn’t reach both size sides of my nail. On top of that one of my nails had a hair in it. Only thing I could do was cover it with glitter nail polish. Also she dinged up two cuticles one being my wedding finger. Did I mention this was the day before my wedding.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThe first time coming in with my mom we were asked what we wanted I said 2 manicures and a full set before tomorrow’s wedding. I sat down first to get my manicure than my mom. My mom had her hands soaked in hot water for 30mins and nobody came by to assist her. I had asked the lady doing my nails if someone was going to assist her she asked around they said 2 mins and turned into an extra 25 mins before someone assisted her. When I got done with my manicure the lady asked my mom what she wanted, my mother responded I want a full set and long nails and acrylic. The nail tech stated “I don’t have time so I can only do gel” so your trying to tell me that we waisted our time. Lady started the color on my moms nails and thought it would be ok. I seen a cockroach size of a half dollar running for dear life which I thought was gross and nail clipping all over the work stations and things were sanitary at any station bc I looked as I walked. I will not be returning back to this place what’s so ever. The first time coming in with my mom we were asked what we wanted I said 2 manicures and a full set before tomorrow’s wedding. I sat down first to get my manicure than my mom. My mom had her hands soaked in hot water for 30mins and nobody came by to assist her. Wow! My feet look and feel amazing after my pedicure today. After a poor experience at a different salon, I decided to try this salon after being referred by a friend. The lady that helped me was very careful and thorough in removing ALL of the dead skin from my heels and trimming and filing my toenails. The pedicure was finished off with a nice leg and foot massage that included hot rocks and moisturizer cream. Although I arrived at almost closing time, my pedicurist was patient and did not rush through the service. I’m very happy and will return in the near future.

Lisa did an amazing pedicure on my husband but my husband didn’t appreciate her humor even though it made me laugh. However, another female technician ended his session early while Lisa was attending another client during the parafin treatment and I know this because he did not receive the hot stones treatment for the $40 VIP spa pedicure as advertised that day on the laminated menu. But since she drastically improved my husband’s feet and it wasn’t her who ended the session, I don’t count it against her as I think it was her boss because she managed the money. On the other hand, it felt like my technician was taking out her frustration on my nails. I asked for a buff shine which she charged $5 extra instead of nail polish and the only direction she used was against the grain of my nails which made my cuticle area sore since she could not get that area and the corners to shine with her one direction technique no matter how forceful or repetitive. I’ve had a buff shine before in other nail salons and they were able to get those areas without it hurting afterwards. Although my technician was friendly, she ascertained that I was not of Vietnamese decent so that she could make comments in Vietnamese to her fellow colleagues. I was shocked and thought it was very unusual and unprofessional that she asked me to get up and wash my hands twice during my manicure session which I have never done in any other nail salon. Other nail salons take a warm wet towel to take off product they use on your hand. When asked for a receipt, I didn’t receive one for my personal accounting purposes but instead got a shocked expression so I explained to no avail. I do think the prices are local market value so that was not the point of my receipt comment but that it was odd. My perceived impression is that you may receive better treatment if you look like you have money because when she saw how much cash I carried when paying my bill, she made another attempt to buff my left hand even though I was already sitting outside her station and she had another client in her station and she notices details like I’m simple, don’t wear make up, don’t shape my eyebrows, age of my hands, occupation, level of education, family of origin, etc. and made comments insinuating this vibe. This was our first time using their services so maybe she was having an off day since she seemed to have arrived late being the last technician in and carrying her uneaten Peet’ s breakfast and coffee.
