We had a pretty disappointing experience at Self Image today. We were actually out of town visiting and me and my daughter wanted to get haircuts. It took our hairdresser literally no more than 8 minutes per haircut. I asked for two inches off, I think she barely took half an inch off my hair. Before tip our bill for two dry haircuts was a little over $80. It would have been more than fine, but being so rushed and not getting the haircut I wanted ruined it for me.

After stating that I wanted a trim with some layers incorporated, the stylist started cutting away multiple inches, without even parting my hair to begin with! After 10 mins she was ready to send me on my way without having me look to make sure I was satisfied. I had to remind her that I wanted layers. No measurements taken at the end, so I left with a super short, uneven haircut. I have never felt this neglected at any type of salon! After stating that I wanted a trim with some layers incorporated, the stylist started cutting away multiple inches, without even parting my hair to begin with! After 10 mins she was ready to send me on my way without having me look to make sure I was satisfied. I had to remind her that I wanted layers. I have never left a negative review. I made an appt at 11 A.M. When I got there, the hairdresser seemed rushed and was in the middle of doing another person’s color. She asked if I wanted my hair washed, which I did, because I was expecting a full service cut, and she straight up told me she didn’t have time and I would just have to have a dry cut. Also she had no time to style it she said. Another stylist that was waiting for a client kindly said she’d wash my hair, and did. The woman cut my hair in less than five minutes, added no layers like I asked her to and charged me a full 30 dollars. Insane. Just lopped off the ends and took my money. I feel super ripped off and won’t be back.
