I asked for a wash and blow and I received not even close to that. I asked if she was gonna use the round brush and she said that my hair was too long?¿ every salon I’ve been to, never had that problem. She used an iron and did whatever pattern she wanted. I was so disappointed, I had to go back to my hotel and re do my hair. The picture on the left was done by the hair stylist, which I think was Cindy? I have been to Hair Unique several times now, always having whomever is available, including the owner, who is wonderful. The other day, I called on short notice, was scheduled to see Dan for the following day. Dan was on time, actually waiting for me. Not to slight the owner ( because she is an amazing stylist) however, Dan did an amazing job cutting my hair, He is personable, professional and very meticulous. I have already scheduled a six week appointment. I would highly recommend Dan if you are looking for an amazing stylist!

Critical: ValueDuring the consultation in the beginning I didn’t think Dan really knew what I meant, but I figured he knew what he was doing so even if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, it would be great. I’ve left happy before (a few years ago) well boy was I wrong! I have the most horrible, uneven “balayage” color. It is blotchy in places. And it is ORANGE. It’s so terrible that I haven’t taken my hair out of a bun since getting it done! I have an appt at another salon to get it fixed. During the consultation in the beginning I didn’t think Dan really knew what I meant, but I figured he knew what he was doing so even if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, it would be great. I had a gift certificate that my daughters bought me for Christmas. I hadn’t had my hair “professionally” done in over 5 years…. So I was REALLY looking forward to getting my hair done. I booked my appointment with literally the ONLY girl under 50 years old. My appt was scheduled on my 46th birthday. I had brown hair that was down to my waist. And also ALOT of grey. So I needed ALOT cut off. But I also wanted a bunch of chunky bright pops of purplush/burgundy highlights.
