They list their hours as Monday -Friday to 9pm. That is not the case. I showed up at 8:50pm and kept ringing the bell. The girl finally shows up and says sorry we stop letting people tan at 8:45pm. Meanwhile I’ve been waiting and it’s not 9pm. I say the other person who works here has let me tan here at 5 minutes to 9pm… this one says well I have to clean it and it’s 8:57pm. It’s so late because I’ve been standing here for over 5 minutes without you answering the door … and also the spray tan machine is self cleaning, so it doesn’t need much cleaning. Really not great service. Change the hours on the sign if you aren’t opened till 9pm. Frustrating especially because I fly out tomorrow for a wedding and I was counting on this.

Decent beds, slightly pricey, very flakey business. Lately every time I go they’re closed, even though it’s within business hours. Just last week someone put a sign saying they’ll be back at 4, I ended up waiting an hour (cause I had nothing better to do) and they still weren’t back.

The amount of times I come to this business during my free time to find the door locked due to employees not showing up as well as them “being on lunch” during business open hours is ridiculous. No where on there hours does it say there’s a “lunch period” where they are closed. Absolutely ridiculous it’s hard to find parking around here too so I put in the effort to literally parallel park only to be confronted with “sorry we’re on lunch won’t be back for 30 minutes” is ridiculous i should have a permanent discount at this point I get to tan almost as many times as I get turned away due to employee and management incompetence

Tried to use a Groupon, they charge $17 to use Groupon and the cashier couldn’t tell me why. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else I’ve used Groupon. Definitely will go elsewhere.

The staff (which makes this particular location so special) are super friendly, customer-centric, and professional…this is especially the case for the owner and manager Tiegan. Shortly after I signed up I was told by my Dermatologist I can no longer go tanning. So, I went to Tropical Tan, talked to the Manager, explained my situation and trusted that my membership was cancelled. This was back in October 2020 and now it’s June 2021 and I realized she just “froze” my account and I have been getting charged this entire time. Called and spoke to the Manager again, offering a dated letter from my Doctor to proof my situation, with ZERO understanding from her end. She ended up hanging up on me as well with no resolution of course. This is the most unethical service I have ever experienced! I went in in person to cancel everything and explain my situation and now I am being blamed for her unethical behavior! DO NOT GO HERE!

I’ve been tanning at the Queen Ann location for a little over two years. The super friendly and knowledgeable staff have always and continues to provide outstanding customer service. The beds are well maintained and always clean. The products are well worth the price as they deliver great results. I love their new tanning bed (#13), which provides great color in one session. I adore the red light therapy, as it also works well and is so relaxing. I would continue my membership if I wasn’t moving out of state. A very special thank you to the following staff members (in no particular order): Asteria, Amanda, Chloe, Emma, Jordan, Molly, Natalie and Hailie (Client Services). Highly recommend this fabulous tanning salon!!!

I really like this place! Its always fast and convenient,plus I never have to wait! Shay and Ian are both awesome. They’ve been extremely helpful when helping me figure out how long I should go and which lotion to use based on my tanning goals. The beds are always super clean and the prices rock : ). Highly recommend!

Excellent service with a friendly and well trained staff, I’ve always had an amazing experience at this store. You can’t beat the new Versa Spa Pro for instant color and this location also has my favorite bed, a stand up Ultra! Along with a great selection of other amazing beds!
