Had been going here for years, I mean ever since they opened. Their beds were good when they first opened, but the owner was rather “cold”, had rude signs all over used to lock the bathroom I could go on but it’s just not worth it. Plenty of reviews that tell it like it is. I am giving 5 stars because they deserve to make money. The rest of the staff was ok for high school kids, but I recently moved and started going to a different salon I soon learned I had really been missing out: they really need to upgrade their equipment. Beds and bulbs have really improved and it does help when the beds have all their bulbs working. I have been told by friends in Belvidere there is a place where the tanning beds are fantastic and u can even workout there that’s open 24/7.

Used to love this place. I have been going here for years. I heard that they have a new owner which is a shame because the previous owner was a sweetheart. I recently got a gift card for there for a Christmas gift. I did a package level 4 that I Normally do. I literally bought the package. Was able to tan for a couple days. Then I go back to 10 in the place is closed. . They have been closed ever since. been trying to contact the business. To try to figure out What’s going on? If your not opening back up how I get my refund? And I can’t get a response from the new owner.. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. This is a joke. New owner is a mess.

The first time I went in there the staff was awesome! She explained everything to me very well, asked me questions, took her time making sure I understood and answered any questions I had. It was great. Since then every time I go in, the staff is wonderful and very friendly. Never had to wait for a bed and always greeted with a smile!

I would not recommend this tanning salon. I went to this salon for two years and each time I left after a tan; I would say why did I pay for that experience. Each time there was issues, either with poor, rude customer service (by the owner or her staff), the bulbs were so weak I did not receive any color, or their were rude signs put up about some customer’s behavior about using certain lotions or not picking up after themselves. I tan about 20 times at this salon and will never do so again. Please spend your money where owner’s appreciate their customers.

Bought the $70 package for 1 month. $77 with tax and all for the level 4. The girl that sold me the package was not friendly. I went in to use the bed and did not tan the full 15 minutes. I noticed 2 bulbs out and informed them. I dont know if the woman with the long blonde hair is the manager or owner. But she didnt say anything. The girl that sold me the pachage said ok. Day 2 there were 3 bulbs out. I told the same 2 people. They just looked at each other like I was a problem. Then the blonde said bulbs were on order. I asked if they had another level 4. NO. So I said what do i do if the bed isnt working. She said it is working there are just bulbs out. She said she was having trouble getting bulbs in. So I asked for a refund so I could spend my money somewhere they take of their beds. The darker haired girl laughed and walked away. The blonde lady ended up giving me a refund after being fake nicing me. I went to the next small town over and got a great deal on a tan package. Love the new place I found. I have a feeling belvidere will not have a tanning place really soon. Because now I see on their FB page someone asked them to change the burnt out bulbs.

Absolutely terrible service tonight by your closers. I walked in at 7:40 exactly and they were extremely rude and wouldn’t let me tan for 10 minutes when you guys say you close at 8?? I know its rude to come in last minute but i was very respectful and I would have been done with 10 minutes to spare before you guys even closed i am not sure if i am going to rate you guys yet on everything I can do tell people about this terrible business. The owner seemed so nice when i first came in then just the second time coming there i drive 30 minutes to be told i cant come tan while you are still open by a lazy employee.

Absolutely Terrible I bought my wife a 2 week package the next day she was admitted to the hospital for 2 days and then placed on bed rest. She even had me stop there on her way to a doctor’s appointment to let them know. One of the employees told her that since she never even used the tanning package yet that there should be no problem starting it over and she said she would have the owner call her the next day. Did she call NO…………not at all. My wife went back in and talked to the owner she was extremely rude. She was not honest and said she got the note from my wife (My wife wrote it herself and put her phone number on it) but there was no number on it to call her. Which again was not true? Then my wife asked if her number was in there system and she said no which again is not true because I bought the package and they had all of her info. The owner was very rude and does not know how to treat customers. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE

They really do have awful customer service. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Not friendly at all. I feel the owner ,I’m assuming, tries to be nice to make up for the rude young workers but she tries so hard to make up for them it seems so fake and not genuine (but I give her credit for at least faking it…the other workers should take note) because I few times coming in before she was not friendly whatsoever. They don’t greet half the people coming in and so you stand there waiting for them (they clearly know you are standing there waiting) and when they finally look up at you they act annoyed, like you bothered them. This literally happens EVERY TIME I come in. ( I wouldn’t come back, but I have to finish a package I bought >:( One of the girls even started trying to argue with me when I told her I had my eye protection in my pocket and she didn’t believe me and wanted me to show her then started just being very rude because I asked why she wanted me to show her, which I did, and no one else. if they want to run a business, they should know first hand customers should be a priority. You don’t have to do extra things, but maybe be A LOT more friendly and comprising on certain situations.
