Had an appointment with Mandy for both myself and my daughter. It was the first time trying this Salon. We were welcomed by warm and fun personalities, they included us in their conversations as though we had known them for years. The salon was super clean and cute, they have a small shop with clothes that I was happy to see included plus sizes. They also sell very cute tumblers. The hair cuts were great, she really took the time to listen to what we wanted and she didn’t rush through the cut at all. I loved the whole experience and will definitely be using this Salon as my go to from now on!

I’m not normally a person who writes reviews because I would never want to hurt a locally owned business. However, I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism that I experienced today and don’t want others to have to experience this. I called earlier this week to schedule an appointment for myself and my mother-in-law for today. My appointments were scheduled for 1pm and 1:40pm. At 10:30am today, the stylist called me and said that she was asked to go to the UT football game and really wanted to go, so she wanted to reschedule my appointments for another day. I told her that I had a wedding to attend tomorrow and really needed the cut today. She decided to tell me that if I could get there in 20 minutes she could “squeeze me in” but otherwise I’d have to reschedule. Thankfully I was able to find another salon who could take me today so I don’t plan to reschedule or ever return to Sokno Bliss. I’m sad to say this because I was excited to have a new salon close to home, but it’s clear that they don’t value their clients’ time. Unfortunately they not only lost my business, but also my mother-in-law’s, as well as my mother’s, who were all looking for a new salon since we’re new to the area. I hope they do better for other customers.

Critical: QualityI went here for a haircut. I live in the area so I was excited about this local business and really wanted it to work out. I requested layers and a trim, so nothing too difficult. The layers were not blended well and choppy. There were holes in the layers. The layers around my face were also all wrong and it seemed like she left this whole big chunk at the bottom that didn’t have layers. I couldn’t really tell in the salon at the time because there wasn’t really any product put in my hair or styling so it wasn’t straight enough to tell. It wasn’t until I got home and fixed it that it was super obvious. My friends also noticed and suggested I go elsewhere to get it fixed. I was really disappointed and have to pay someone else to fix it. I hate that it was a bad experience because the lady was nice and I wanted to have a local salon, but I definitely will not be going back.
