They look like very nice people and they actually are! But the problem is they can’t really do black people hair (coily hair)… I have type 4 hair which is like very curly. It was not terrible but they pulled my hair couple of times and my scalp hurts a lot now. A good thing is that they used Olaplex hair products which are very good (kinda pricey tho), that’s the reason my hair didn’t end up fried. I also got a trim in my ends which was good, not a curly hair trim but it made the job! I am saying all this because before making an appointment I asked if they where able to do type 4 curly hair, and they said yes. I hope they take training on how to properly do black hair cuz they’re very nice people and it’s a nice environment!

I tried a new salon today. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a new stylist but this shop is close to my home and I decided to try something new. I am so glad I did! Khanh did a full foil highlight and cut for me. I love it! Beyond how well I like how my hair turned out, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The shop was a warm and inviting place, not overly fancy like some shops where you feel like you might be paying extra for the atmosphere, but clean and practical and friendly. It’s a really cute salon. The stylists were all so kind and relaxed and welcoming. I felt like I was visiting with girlfriends who I have known for a long time. It feels like family when you’re there. I have lived only a few blocks from this shop since it opened but I have never thought to stop in to check it out. What took me so long? Salon Jubilee is a hidden jewel,the salon is wonderful, my hairstylist, Tia was friendly and listened to my ideas and did my hair just like I had envisioned.They have put in place infection control practices that include dividers that have been put up between stations. Overall it is comfortable, inviting and relaxing.

I was visiting here from AZ & needed a hair cut, so I did a search of salons near the RV park we were in. All the reviews for this salon were very good & they weren’t wrong! Amy cut my hair better than my own hairdresser. Best hair cut ever & she was so sweet, too! I highly recommend this salon, ask for Amy! Thank you so much Amy!

I love this salon. It’s close enough to work that I can get my hair cut over lunch, the prices are reasonable, and even if it’s been a while since I’ve been in, Khan always remembers me. She does a great job and gives me good advice on what to do with my hair.
