So, after all the horrible experience at Supercuts. I went into the Chester Barbershop for the first time and met Suzi, who was nice enough to cut my hair precisely how I wanted it. She didn’t even want to charge me full price after my catastrophe at Supercuts four days prior! I recommend this place highly, and the straight razor shave is a nice surprise! See you guys every 2 to 3 weeks!

Positive: ProfessionalismI took a bike ride here from Jersey City to check out the small town charm. I decided to get a quick haircut here but it was cash only, so I needed to go to an ATM. After trying two different machines, I realized my bank had frozen my card due to suspicious activity. I was ready to just move on but Ginny told me not to worry about it and she’d give me a quick cut for free!I fully intended to resolve the issue after the cut but she didn’t know that. After the very good haircut, I called my bank and got the issue resolved after 15 minutes, went back in, and paid Ginny. Great cut, great price. This is my first time going to the Chester Barber Shop and I am very pleased with the result. The ladies are very kind and do an excellent job cutting hair. I will definitely return. One thing to note is that they do not take appointements; walk ins only.

Excellent place to get a haircut. The woman haircutters are great, they listen to you when tell them how to cut your hair. $15 for a haircut. Good value, and they’re fast too without losing quality. I leave a $5 tip well worth it.
