Rock Paper Scissors Salon Oviedo

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI usually never leave reviews like this but this was the absolute worst hair experience I have ever had and I want to make sure no one else has the same experience that I did. I got my hair cut, dyed, and styled at Rock, Paper, Scissors Salon in Oviedo on March 23rd. I asked for a dark brown color but my hair turned out completely red and my appointment took over 3 hours. I also asked for curtain bangs and a sharp V cut with long layers and the cut looked nothing like that either. Because the appointment took so long, I was late to a gathering with my friends and showed up with hair dye all over my forehead and neck that the employee had gotten on me. I called later that day to come get it fixed but the salon had no availability for me. I was only in town for a couple of days because I live in West Palm Beach. The lady over the phone told me that I could call when I was back in town to get it fixed. I was in Oviedo a couple of weeks later so I called to make an appointment but I was told that that will not be possible. The employee said that there is a 7 day policy that the other employee in March told me wouldn’t be a problem since I live out of town and they didn’t have availability for me. I had been told by that employee that I could come get it fixed when I was back in town. I came into the salon with brown hair that I just wanted darkened a little bit and walked out with completely red hair that I am still struggling to get rid of today. This was almost 7 months ago. I reached out and kindly asked management if there was anything that I could do to have it fixed or get a refund and they took forever to respond to my emails and offered nothing. I usually never leave reviews like this but this was the absolute worst hair experience I have ever had and I want to make sure no one else has the same experience that I did. I got my hair cut, dyed, and styled at Rock, Paper, Scissors Salon in Oviedo on March 23rd. I asked for a dark brown color but my hair turned out completely red and my appointment took over 3 hours. Critical: QualityMy hair didn’t end up anything like the picture I wanted. First, part of my hair was burned from the heat and they had to cut it on both side to match it. The teal is the wrong color and there were streaks in my hair. The color wasn’t even the same throughout. I’m really disappointed and had to cancel my graduation photos the next day because I hate how it looks. I don’t even know how to fix it – I wish I never went here. The stylist was really nice but their dye/products are so bad. The stylist even said the dye they use is bad and store bough Arctic Fox would be better. My hair didn’t end up anything like the picture I wanted. First, part of my hair was burned from the heat and they had to cut it on both side to match it. The teal is the wrong color and there were streaks in my hair. The color wasn’t even the same throughout. I’m really disappointed and had to cancel my graduation photos the next day because I hate how it looks. I don’t even know how to fix it – I wish I never went here. Had to leave the salon wet headed because they close at 6 pm and they booked me late for a balayage. When they knew ahead of time that I was coming for a full balayage. Emailed the owner never responded back ask for a refund never got one. They really messed up my hair. I am very sad and disappointed because I went to them as a new customer on my birthday to be treated with respect and to get what I paid for. Please just give me back my refund at least! When they knew ahead of time that I was coming for a full balayage. Emailed the owner never responded back ask for a refund never got one. They really messed up my hair. I am very sad and disappointed because I went to them as a new customer on my birthday to be treated with respect and to get what I paid for. Please just give me back my refund at least! Critical: ValueThis company sells gift certificates but does not actually do any of the things listed on the certificates. Went there for bayalage left with purple tinted hair. Never asked if I wanted trim and then was told she didn’t know if she would have time to correct it. I went in with blonde hair mind you.
