I went to this Barbershop a few months Back and paid him $70 for the service plus added a tip totaling $150 because Dr. Barber the owner is well worth more then that price for a haircut, fade, beard trim and way more he offers. It’s worth $150+ by a long shot. These other barbershops that guys say give the same quality cuts for cheaper is simply not true, not even close to the same quality, nobody is even coming close to getting the quality haircuts these guys give at any other Barbershop in Oregon for $25-$40. If your cheap you can pay $35 at your local Sports clips because you don’t deserve their quality they offer here. Alberto got me in when I was desperate for a cut. The place I usually go to in town closes early but Proper Cuts was the only place still open after 6:00pm. I called & he said “no problem,I got you”. Haircut was $70.00 which is more than what I normally pay for a cut($25.00-$30.00)but I’m willing to give anyone a chance(I knew if it wasn’t good, I wouldn’t go back). Alberto took his time,was communicative & definitely knew his way around a pair of scissors and clippers. I was shocked when he handed me the mirror… He gave me exactly what I wanted. No one has ever done that first time. He gave me good tips & tricks on how to style my hair. In reference to the price of the haircut I told him, “You know, $70.00 isn’t too much to make me look better than when I walked in”. I walked in wearing a hat, when I walked out I didn’t put it back on the rest of the night. I gladly forked out the $70.00(make sure it’s exact change,lol). I’ve read a few negative reviews complaining about the price, if you haven’t came in to Proper Cuts & paid the $$ for a cut,then you can’t talk. We have used Dr. Barber in the past and really love his cuts. We have also used Mike as well. Both of these guys can cut African American hair. It’s one thing to say you can cut hair and another to actually do it well. Dr. Barber gets my husband faded and lined up just right every single time. That beard trim and line up too, oooooh weeeee! Dr. Barber also did a few undercuts for our daughter last summer complete with designs. The talent is there and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line haircut. I know there are those complaining about pricing, but here’s the deal you CAN get a haircut somewhere else for $30, but not to this quality. It’s a you get what you pay for situation. People want Charmin quality on a Kirkland budget. For me personally it’s worth the price to have my dude coming back looking so fresh.

I get it with the pandemic everyone’s taken a hit but you’re out robbing people we’re all struggling financially together. Also I’ve seen your hair cuts at other places charging less than half of what you charge. Use to recommend tons of people to this place it’s gone downhill. Your cuts are good but now $85 good should be giving people massages for that price.
