joe jr is a master i have only have had one barber cut my hair as beautiful as joe jr did and the was joe desanto and joe was a legend in burlington last time joe cut my hair was around 1969 so for the last 53 yrs no one has cut my hair as beautiful as joe desanto did it would stick up for 7-10 days after the cut i could not manage it first haircut with joe jr and it did not happen i thought i was in the land of oz i said lets see if it happens again to be sure and he cut it again and it sat on my head this is my barber after 53 freakin yrs i struck gold SALUTE JOE JR u are a master

I have been going here for 15+years for a cut and I will never go back after today. Made an appointment for 3pm, walked in the door at 3:08. I was told by the owner (Joe) that I was late so they took another guy (who didn’t have an appt) and told me I was unable to get a cut today. When I told him I was in traffic he responded “you don’t have a phone” and repeatedly told me it’s all my fault that I couldn’t get a cut. When I went to walk out I pushed the door open and walked out. Joe (the owner) followed me out to the parking lot looking to argue more. It’s a shame because I’ve been going here to get a cut since I can remember, back when it was next to Kmart. Old Joe is a grumpy ignorant man. Will not give that man another dollar ever!

Great place with of school charm. This place has what all of those chain places don’t… Consistency of service and consistent stylist who don’t turn over every time you go back. Prices are comprable to chain salons, but the service and attention to detail is so much better. Make sure you bring cash only and don’t bring any food or drinking. They have their rules. But if you can get past that, you’re going to get a great haircut with great service.

Joe Sr is a no nonsense guy who has been in the business for many years. He is diligent in his efforts to keep the shop running smoothly. I honestly cannot say enough about Plaza Barber and Hairstlying! I brought my nephew in for a haircut and was so warmly welcomed by their amazing staff and immaculate shop! Joe Jr. was patient and kind, making my nephew feel comfortable and at ease. He did an amazing job! I have already recommended this shop to all of my friends and family. Those who have visited will definitely be returning again. I can honestly see why Joe Sr. has been in business for almost 50 years!

I have gone to the Plaza Barber Shop since I was a little boy back in Willingboro (well over 40 years now). Joe, the owner, was just starting out back then, taking over from his father. Joe and all of the other terrific barbers / stylists know their customers and speak to us as if we are longtime friends. This is a great place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to get his / her hair cut. They do great work in any chair, their pricing is very reasonable, and the conversation is always good. Definitely a 5-star barber shop with a family, hometown atmosphere.

I’ve been in need of a new barber so I came here. This place disguises itself as a barbershop but it really is a salon, and the reason I say that is because the haircut process followed the way a salon process works, cut, wash, cut. I told the barber specifically what I wanted, and got somewhat close but it was a failed cause to convince her that I wanted my hair shorter than she suggested though I understood her point. I was pretty disappointed to see that a straight edge was no where to be seen in sight to crisp my edges or to fine tune the final product as is customary in 95% of barbershops. They did wash my hair but I feel as if that does not improve any quality of my haircut rather than to clean It. Overall, average haircut at best, there’s probably a barbershop in the area that takes more time to fine tune anything for the same price or cheaper.

Rude as soon as we walked through the door and the stylest had a ton of attitude when my husband asked if she was good at military fades. Also very strict on their no food or drink policy – considering the milk was in a sippy and not even opened. I was trying to put it away and the owner (I’m assuming) decided to get into an argument with me while he was doing a haircut telling me I wasn’t respecting his rules… mind you I was trying to pack up the sippy to leave and he was continuing to be rude and argue. Definitely won’t be going back. Hope he was just having a bad day and isn’t always like that because that first impression was terrible. Sucks because my husbands fade turned out nice, but they won’t be getting any more of our business.
