A few days ago, I had called Nirvana asking if they do acrylic removal (soak off). They said yes and to please come with my time. I did as instructed and came in with plenty of time to spare. The woman examined my nails, and proceeded to pull out her metro card and began prying underneath my acrylic to remove them. This hurt terribly and when I asked the woman to please soak off the rest she told me no because it would take too long. I am very dissatisfied with the service u received, as three of my nails ended up broken.

A friend recommended this place to me when I moved to the neighborhood, and I am thrilled they did! Nirvana is now my go-to. Everyone I’ve worked with is so nice, the spa is beautiful, and the atmosphere is always the right level of relaxing. I have not had a mani, pedi, or wax that has been less than excellent. Highly recommend! Dip powder, Gel manicures, Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing

I came here to get my one mail fixed which a tip had come off of. The mail tech made a mistake and starting taking off all of my nails by clipping them. At that point it was too late to say something. So I spent over $200 here’s in the past two weeks when fixing my nail should have been free. Not only that but they also wiped my nails before they were dry so I had to go back. They did not care how unhappy I was and I got no compensation for their mistake. I will not be back.

Best manicure in the neighborhood! I come every 3 weeks for a dip powder mani. They last the full 3 weeks and prices are fair. I’ve gotten so many of my friends hooked on Nirvana Nail!! Manicure

The place is nice and clean and I like how they file/treat the nails. The polish is just ok. There’s a ton of polish on my cuticles even after I asked them to clean them up a bit. Manicure, Pedicure

Best/longest lasting manicure in the neighborhood. They also give a great massage. I just wish they had more gel colors to choose from.

absolutely the best nail salon in the UES! I do the dip nails and Amy is the best!! It took me a while to find a nail salon I liked after moving to the city. Salons were either bad at doing the manicure or dirty and gross. This place is the best of it all. Clean, relaxing, I always love my manicure, and I usually “walk in” and am attended too rather quickly. Even if they’re busy, they do their best. I always ask for Amy unless it’s super busy. The pedicures are also wonderful and leave your feet feeling silky smooth for days.

Decided to check this place out because of the positive reviews. I went in for a regular pedicure and dip/powder manicure. I was initially happy with my visit, until within a week of my manicure the color came off of four of my nails. I called the salon and spoke with a man who said I could come in the next day to get it fixed. The next day I show up and there is a woman at the front desk. I told her what happened and that I was told I could get my manicure fixed. The woman gave me a hard time. She looked at my nails and told me my manicure looked more than a week old. I offered to show her the date I paid on my credit card to prove to her it hadn’t been more than a week. She then said ‘No, no, I trust you.’ They did end up fixing my nails but then within the next 3 days another 4 came off. The poor customer service and the fact that the nails didn’t even last a week means I won’t be coming back to this place.

The best I can say is it was the worst pedicure I have ever had. I get pedicures fairly often so my feet were in decent shape to start.

Website says $58 for a special pedicure so my friend and I booked one each. Got there and they flip out a menu that says the special pedicures are in fact $65. We were both kinda like… ok… our feet were already in the water and the manager was hovering over us like a hawk so we went with it. I got home and looked over my receipts for the day and the total was $140 for two pedicures. That with the $20 tip we left for each nail tech ( I felt bad she looked nauseous from my hairy legs) and we were out $180. The pedicures were super average and for the price and sketchy price changes, I would never ever return.
