Tried asking a question. A simple response would have been sufficient. Instead I was met with a women repeatedly asking how many people and when. Organize your phone book and don’t respond the way you do so your business can thrive. Be aware you scare people away with your actions. Never returning. Too stressful. Pregnant and hormones are enough right now to deal with.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been a loyal client of Magic Nails for many years and I have to say I’m done with them. I walked in today as I usually do- they have two girls ahead of me and told me it would be almost two hours waiting time. Although annoyed I was going to just come back another day.However, when I expressed that I couldn’t come back today the technician made a face that was totally unprofessional and quite honestly childish like, “Oh come on..”!I went to another salon who had two people ahead of me and were able to get me in, in about ten minutes. So rude and unprofessional.People don’t have all day to wait for services. Then to top off with rudeness and being unprofessional making faces. Super disappointed. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThey did 2 pedicures (me and my fiancee) and anc nails w tips on my daughter. She begged me to get hers done like Mommy’s so we decided to try anc for her. They did a very professional job with all of us. As far as doing anc nails on a young lady (10 years old ), they came out looking amazing. I posted a pic, all green nails like she really wanted for St.Pattys day 🙂 Everyone was friendly and kind. The pedicures were some of the best we have ever had and the best value for our $$ as well. They did 2 pedicures (me and my fiancee) and anc nails w tips on my daughter. She begged me to get hers done like Mommy’s so we decided to try anc for her. They did a very professional job with all of us. As far as doing anc nails on a young lady (10 years old ), they came out looking amazing. I had my nails done here for the first time. ANC manicure was done by Jennifer. She was very rough. Jerked my hands. When she used the electric file my nail beds felt like they were burning. I tried being patient however when she filed my nails I was in pain. I asked her to stop filing because my fingers were hurting. I told her she was being rough. She (very loudly) proclaimed that she was not being rough but my nails are just too short. (Before she started filing I had plenty of nail she filed them down leaving no nail.) I told her that my nails have always been short and I’ve been getting them done regularly for many many years. It doesn’t have to hurt. She argued again that she wasn’t being rough. I allowed her to continue to file but I wanted to cry from the pain. I asked her again to please be gentler and she again exclaimed she’s not being rough. Again she said my nails are too short. I told her that she was scraping my cuticles with the file which has nothing to do with the length of my nails. When she added the acetone or alcohol as the final step my fingers and cuticles burned from my cuticles being scraped and my fingertips being so raw from her file. She set me to dry for 5 minutes and attended to another customer. I decided to leave after about two. She yelled at me from the other table that I needed to stay because my nails were not dry yet. I said that I just had to leave and they were dry enough. I needed to leave that place. I was in much pain. That was around 4pm today and now at 8:30pm my fingers still feel raw and tender. Do NOT argue with a customer about the level of pain they are feeling. It is completely inconsiderate and actually inhumane. Needless to say I canceled the pedicure I was going to have and I will never return. I’ve never left a salon in pain in all of the 15 years of having my nails done. I regret not saying more to her but I was near tears.

Susan and Eric are the best nail techs the place has. However, Susan doesn’t understand English well and Eric is very rude. Jennifer is fast paced, loud and provides inconsistent and painful work. I have been a repeat customer for a long time and most staff have been observed rude and not listening to what their customers want. They pressure you into ANC or gel when you’re in there for a basic manicure or want acrylic. There is also a dog that is allowed to roam free around the salon. He is very friendly, however he has fleas. He was laying on the floor next to me when I getting a manicure and fleas jumped off of him. I liked the location as it was fairly close to my house. I do not feel I will be returning anymore due to the constant disrespect the staff gives to customers. The place appears outdated and unsanitary.

I also got a acrylic fill which is $25 and gel Over it for extra $15, pedicure which is $25 which would be $65 she added on $5 and charged me $70, the gel is peeling and she didn’t even clean under my nails. I had a pedicure and manicure today and felt that I was treated in a rude manner. Susan was doing my pedicure and Jennifer came and took over and finished it in a hurried manner. Jennifer did my manicure in such a hurried and rough manner that I asked her if she was in a hurry….she said no. She filed my nails so fast and rough that she drew blood and said it was dry skin. I like all these women and feel badly that I won’t be going back for a while…….maybe never. There is no need to treat anyone like that.

Inconsistent results. I went back because my nails were different colors (when they were supposed to be the same). Then at another visit I noticed the bottom of my nails were darker than the rest. Kelly is terrible. Her filing is uneven and sloppy. Jennifer tried the best she could to fix my uneven color but it still ended up looking sloppy. I will not be going back.
