The salon and everyone who works there is great. BUT!!! The actual product they use is not. I have extensive damage to my hair from going brown in their salon. My hair was decently healthy before with no split ends since I had been letting my hair go natural for a year or so. After getting my hair done it feels and looks like I bleached it at home. And my “light brown” is very dark and super orange. Just overall bad. Again, the people are great. But the Madison Reed color is so so damaging. Using tons of Olaplex and going to another salon and hoping that will fix it, wish me luck!

The stylists can’t do balayage. I wasn’t even consulted about the color I wanted before the stylist started coloring my hair. The end result was not good. I was expecting all the ends of my hair to get done but the stylist said I could only get the top layer of my ends done. First time getting a balayage, so I didn’t know what a partial was. I ended up with half light, half dark (from a previous coloring), and my roots were natural. Not a good look.

I’m not sure if they’re short-staffed or what’s going on but they fried my hair. They left the product on too long and bleached it. Now my hair is fried. The first woman stopped 3/4 of the way through and another woman came and did the rest. They’re getting more than one star because they refunded my money. It’s cost me a lot just to repair my hair and it’s still in process.
