I LOVE to go to Joan – she is so gentle! Anyone will feel beautiful when she is finished cutting and styling their hair. My hair isn’t easy to take care of; thick and long, but Joan layers the bottom for volume, and has helped me find the perfect shampoo to keep it looking amazing!

I wrote to The Last Tangle about two years ago, asking if their stylists can handle guys who have thin hair and need to maximize appearance, throwing in some humor. They replied immediately, saying that they’d like to pair me with a stylist who shares my sense of humor, and I have loved seeing Becky as my regular stylist ever since. And the comments about the cookies are no lie – I keep fit, but I look forward to my monthly treat there… they are the bomb!!

My sister was getting updos for her bridesmaids. I was her maid of honor. My sister paid before my hair was done because she had to get ready for her wedding. After my sister left, the stylist then said “don’t worry, I’ll be fast.” My hair looked terrible. They didn’t even know who I was and kept asking my relationship to the bride. Then another hair dresser came over and began complaining about one of her clients. The stylist said “She’s pissing me off,” several times. It was the worst experience ever. I actually asked them if my hair looked okay to them. Not a single smile.

It is after much deliberation and a great life changing offer from a great company here in town, that I have decided to leave the Last Tangle as of April 18th. As a matter of fact, I am retiring my shears for good. The other stylists are all equally as competent or better and as friendly and caring as myself. They also have the luxury of youth. Meaning they can still physically handle the mechanical and chemical stressors involved with the industry. Plus they often have fresh ideas and new knowledge of our craft. I truly loved learning, working and being there for so many of you!!

Look past the plain exterior. I went here for a massage that I received as a gift. I was hesitant, having never been here before, but found myself pleasantly surprised. Not only was my massage one of the best I’ve ever received, but the masseuse was obviously incredibly knowledgeable about human physiology. I’m an amateur mountain bike racer, so when I told her of my aches and pains, she immediately diagnosed what needed the most attention. Reasonably priced and easy to schedule, I think I just found my new salon.

Had to wait 20 minutes beyond appointment for someone to show to do my daughter’s nails for hoco. Then the lady who was doing them didn’t have access to the key where the supplies was kept. So she has a very minimal selection to chose from. Bummer this was the first time she had her nails done Quality work just didn’t expect the extra wait or the very small selection of colors.

I’ve been going here since 2008. I have switched stylists multiple times when they leave. I currently use Angela and she is great. I’ve had everything done here to inclue highlights, low lights, cut, full color. Mani & pedi, eyebrow wax & brazilian wax. I love everyone who works here. Never had a bad experience.

Love the unite products, but every time I go to get more products they are closed. The door says they open at 9am on modays. Well here I sit and it’s still locked no one here. The Internet says they open at 8:30. Just would like to get my unite products it shouldn’t be this hard. I will just have to order online going forward I guess. Bummer.
