This place is ridiculous. I stopped in and asked for eyebrow waxing. I didn’t too much mind the cold welcome upon entering the shop. I sat down for a wax and explained exactly what I wanted. A high arch. The woman finished my eyebrows and she had made them square! I re explained I wanted an arch and she admitted she can’t do one on me.

This little hole in the wall are always the best treasures. I came with three of my besties to get a pedicure and we’re from out of state so we had no idea where to go. Came to JJ Nail Care due to the reviews on here and the stars speak for them. They work to perfect ur nails and every step of the way, they ask for ur approval of their work. I got acrylic French tips pedi’s.. and they look beautiful!! My two besties got the pedi spa done. We walked out very very satisfying. This place is more than what I expected! Ty for a great experience while in San Jose! ❤️❤️

I’m always happy with my service. I try to go every two weeks and they are always available. The ladies give great massages with your pedi and the overall Ora is clean and welcoming. Seems they have long time customers the way they laugh and joke. Always with the new trends and are not rude by yelling. I definitely recommend a visit.

After having a not great experience with this place last year I’ve tried a bunch of other salons that didnt work out. For the price, this is the best place I’ve found. It’s not perfect but I feel like the techs are well trained. $30 for a basic gel manicure that looks nice and will last more than a couple days. The person next to me was getting really nice looking acrylics.

I rarely write bad reviews but I hated my experience there. The woman who did my nails was unfriendly, almost rude. But worst was what she did to my nails. I came in for a simple gel nail manicure but there was something wrong with the way she did my nails, they were all foggy by the time I got home. I know mistakes happen, so I went back and asked her to fix them. She put more top coat on them which fixed the foggy dullness but then they looked all thick and lumpy. Especially because the nails shape she gave me was sloppy. I really don’t want to go back again to that place! So I will just pay again and go to a better salon. I am kinda mad that my simple gel nails have turned out so expensive; time and money-wise. Even my boyfriend thought my nails looked terrible and he doesn’t really know about these kind of things. I had been so looking forward to this as a special treat to myself, I feel very disappointed.
