I had my hair cut to a couple to a few inches long a couple years ago, and finally decided to grow it out. I have a LOT of thick, corse hair with big curls. I suddenly noticed crazy cowlicks and tried to fight them to no avail! I started seeing Sam at the beginning of this year, she assessed my growth patterns and gave me a cut that complimented them. About a week later I returned to shorten my bangs and remove some bulk, I also received a few bang trims since- all complimentary services.

I’m obsessed!! I’m new to the area and was struggling to find a hair stylist that I felt would do a good job with my thick pixie cut. Found Sam and am so happy with her work — she really listened to my thoughts and ideas, asked questions and explained her opinion, and gave me a better haircut than I’ve had almost ever. I have been with Sam for going on a little over 4 years now and I have never been dissatisfied with the results. From high pigment, florescent green hair to my natural locks cut to show off my curls I have had nothing but good experiences. We did my cut (taking three-ish inches off and adding in some new layers) and a color consult and then did the color the next week. My ends needed a bit more off so she trimmed them up at the end of the color. My hair looks the best it has in years and is exactly what we had talked about during the consult. She really listens and is a super skilled colorist.I’ve not had any services with Sam but you can tell she really cares about her clients. The two times I’ve been there she’s had a wide range of clients: men, women, younger and older.
