I went to this salon and saw the same person for over a decade. One day I received a text that due to that persons health they could no longer see me, I understand this more than you know! I texted back thanking the person and asking for a recommendation, no text back. Waited few days, texted again thanking them for the decade of help with my hair….no response! She did keep other clients so it’s not like she was just done and unable to communicate. The services I received were good, but sometimes how you end a relationship is what makes the biggest impact. I hope she is never in need of more clients as I will never refer anyone, because in good conscience how will she treat others when she no longer needs you as as a client? I will never return or refer anyone. Sad to say this.

Positive: ProfessionalismA friend referred me to the salon, Katie specifically, to get my hair colored. I had a bad experience at another salon in town and I am starting a new job. My hair is super dry so Katie was really reluctant to bleach my whole head, so we just touched up my roots, and she cut my hair to even out some breakage. She was very communicative about everything she was doing with my hair and tried to go the best route for my dry curly. She also gave me a great cut and styled it so nicely! I can count on both hands the number of times I’ve had my hair styled cutely after a cut, because by and large stylists do not know how to do curly hair. But Katie did such a cute job! I was so happy when I left. A friend referred me to the salon, Katie specifically, to get my hair colored. I had a bad experience at another salon in town and I am starting a new job. My hair is super dry so Katie was really reluctant to bleach my whole head, so we just touched up my roots, and she cut my hair to even out some breakage. Shelley is fantastic! Actually cares and wants you to look good. She pays very close attention to detail and knows what she’s talking about. I trusted her with my very fragile and messed up hair and she did an amazing job fixing my hair after my last stylist didn’t do her job. She is super nice and easy to talk to and let’s you know what she’s doing so you aren’t just left in the dark. I didn’t feel like she was rushing to get me out and wanted to spend time making sure I looked good! I haven’t been this happy with my hair in probably over 2 years! Definitely will be coming back! Karen always does a fantastic job; best of all I can show her a picture of a hair style that I like and makes it perfect. I am always getting compliments about how nice my hair looks. Before I went to Karen Rios I had a horrible haircut from another shop. Even after a manager(she said) “fixed it”, it was chopped is the best way to describe it. Moe of the three stooges is my description. Wasn’t sure it could be fixed until it grew. My sister sent me to Karen and I was in total shock when she finished,it looks great!! Actually better than great. Was so pleased with what I had thought was hopeless. If a stylist ever asks you if you want your sideburns shaved and you are a woman- get out of the chair and run.

Cindy is amazing….my daughter and I went in there to fix her hair color. She turned out to be a brunette and wanted to be blonde. Cindy corrected it and now my daughter is now a blonde and we couldn’t be happier.
