Okay so, everyone knows Renee to be a curly hair master (which she is), but she’s also SO good with straight hair too! I have waist length straight hair, and Renee knows exactly how to cut it, color it and style it to make it look perfect. I first started going to her about 8 years ago and have NEVER went to anyone else. That first haircut was THE first haircut i had where i didn’t feel sad afterward. She listens to every single request and detail you have, while still giving advice on what she thinks would work best for your hair. She is so passionate about her job and clients, and puts a smile on my face every time i see her. Definitely see Renee if you want to have the best haircut of your life. She is a gem!!!

Renee is amazing and knows what she is doing! My youngest daughter struggled with her varied hair texture…some parts straight, some curly, and most just frizzy with no curl. Renee was amazing with my daughter and suggested we try a keratin treatment. She took the time to teach her how to care for her hair and the whole time boosted her confidence. Never made her feel insecure about her hair. My daughter always leaves with a big smile on her face. I first met Renee about 4 years ago, introduced by another client. My prior hairdresser must have had an awful day, leaving me with orange tinted hair and a horrible haircut. When Renee met me she explained that it would take several months to get it healthy and looking good, as well as teaching me to use my natural curls to my advantage. I found Rennee while trying to find someone with curly hair experience. Her instagram photos seemed great but I guess I’ll never know. Our first interaction via text was great. She told me that she was pretty booked so the next available appointment was almost a month away. On the day of the of the appointment, I sent her a text at 3:30 to let her know that I will see her at the time of the appointment 5:30. To my surprise her reply was “oh I am sorry. I am not feeling well.” I completely understood since life happens but this became the pattern for my other 2 rescheduled appointments which were canceled each on the day of the appointment around 45 min before. I really tried to be understanding but at this point the disregard for other people’s time is unbelievable. This is just irresponsible and not a great way to run a business and treat a customer or a person in general. I am still in awe as I write this review. Good luck in everything you do!

I will never let anyone else touch my daughters hair except Renee. She is hands down, a pro at what she does. She is a curly hair guru. My favorite part is that she actually took the time to show me exactly how to style her hair. Unlike a lot of stylists, she did not have all of her products facing backwards – leaving you unsure of what to actually do when you get home. I can’t wait for my youngest to get her first haircut. Where to start. I have struggled for years with my hair. I have thin, oily, damaged hair, which has never taken color very well. It was always poorly blended as I went from person to person. I live in Austin and have tried so many different color specialists. A few years ago, my mother referred me to Renee. I was hesitant to see someone in a different city, but I went to Renee and I can honestly say I will never ever see anyone else! She has perfectly blended the color in my hair. It looks more vibrant than I have ever seen it and brings out my facial features and my skin tone. She also cuts my hair now and in just a few months, my hair is in better shape than I have ever seen it. At least 10 people in the last 6 months have said to me, “you’re hair looks amazing!
