Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueSet an appointment for 8am was here at 7:30 they got here after 8 and I came in and for one they put another lady in the chair I was told there was mix up our names was Lisa so she said let me see your hair I show her and then she tell me my hair to short but she braided my hair before so that just showed me she didn’t want to do my hair so for me it was a waste of my time not only that the shop was nasty and dirty and no one had on a mask but there is a sign on the door that states mask are mandatory she had me sitting I just got up and left. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI booked an appointment at 9am on Thursday, there were 3 clients in the chairs getting their hair done despite the fact I had booked an appointment so I was told to come back at 2pm later that day because they were understaffed. I came back at 2pm only for there to be 4 new clients getting their hair done & to be told I would have to wait another hour after waiting half of the day already. Highly unprofessional. I don’t know what happened over the years but I won’t ever spend another dollar here. I booked an appointment at 9am on Thursday, there were 3 clients in the chairs getting their hair done despite the fact I had booked an appointment so I was told to come back at 2pm later that day because they were understaffed. Listen to the reviews!!! This place isn’t even worth trying. The shop opens whenever they want! I called and made an appointment a few days prior for 9am (The time they said that they opened) but when I got there the day of the appointment, the shop was still closed. We waited thirty minutes with other potential customers before leaving. We showed back up 30 mins later and the shop was open. There were no lights on inside and the door was wide open. There was no air conditioning either, only dirty carpet and a few fold out chairs placed sporadically. Two kids sat in the only chairs available and two women were about to start working on them. The shop owner was nice at first, asking what I wanted then quickly turned sour when I said that I wanted box braids. She abruptly told me that she was full and that I needed to come back later. I thought that there was some miscommunication since I made an appointment so I re-introduced myself and said that I made and appointment for 9 and the doors were locked, how long we waited, etc. The owner clearly didn’t care and told me that she would be free again later. I explained that I couldn’t come later. She rudely told me that I could come in the next day around 8:30 am and she’d help me personally. I left and I never intend on going back. I drove 30 minutes from my home TWICE and still didn’t get accommodated. There are so many other braiding shops on Broadway so go there instead of this hole in the wall.

Horrible. Showed the lady braiding my a pic of what I wanted my hair to look like, but instead she did what she wants then tried to blame me instead of admitting that she didn’t know what she was doing. Please find some where else to get your braids! Not worth the headache!
