Euphoria’s owner Enola is a designer. You will walk out of her salon with a haircut that highlights your features and a color (or colors as in my case) that was thoughtfully custom mixed. I’ve been to NYC salons, and as a frugal, professional woman who stands behind podiums, I found Euphoria exceptional. Enola takes mental notes during her free consultation, thinks about your comments on her “free time,” and sends multiple suggestions to your phone. The brand-name salons with their expensive advertising cannot lure me back.

Enola is fantastic! As one who is very cautious during the pandemic, I can assure you that everything is being done to keep you safe. The space is well cleaned, masks are required and worn well. Enola checked in about my comfort, offered to keep a window open to increase airflow, left the space during wait times, and was just a model of safe COVID-19 practices. Enola’s Hair Salon, ‘Euphoria’ is horrible!! – I have been growing out my hair for approximately (6) years since 2010; my hair was very long and curly, mid back length. I entrusted Enola with my hair and that I would have to say was a.HUGE MISTAKE; I was beyond foolish to have trusted her with my hair! Due to my hair being very fine I always tended to tie my hair up in what some would call, ‘a man bun’; since my hair never really fell into place and/or in the way I wanted when I did straighten and center part my hair, I finally decided to cut my hair even though I had my reservations! Since I was going to cut my hair I said, “what the hell; I want something edgy.” I decided on a edgy, disconnected undercut….Super trendy, structured, piecey and perfect for fine hair. I printed (5) pictures in total and even brought my laptop to show a video of the EXACT haircut I wanted; assuming that everything I brought would help, especially with my consultation! How wrong I was…ENOLA instead chopped ALLLLL my damn hair off and disregarded what I wanted from the very beginning, lying and stating that she could achieve what I wanted. Enola cuts hair how she wants to cut hair (she cuts EVERYONE’S hair the exact same way) same so-called techniques, etc. She even has the audacity to get upset/annoyed when you voice your opinion(s), concern(s) and outlook on YOUR hair and the haircut that’s being conducted!? My hair was left uneven throughout, she never bothered to style my hair, she instead left me with a mesh of hair that you can’t do anything with; if I didn’t say, “Can I use the restroom?” to escape the mangling she would have continued to cut!!! ….Now I’m back to square 1. having to grow my hair out again SMH; Enola even had the balls to say, “Let me fix it.” Commonsense would tell the exact person that you’re incredibly upset and displeased with whom already messed your hair up that why in the hell would you let them cut and/or touch you or your hair any further?! Let me tell you there was absolutely nothing to fix, ALL my hair was chopped off and pilled up on her salon’s floor. 6 years worth of hair all cut off it less than 5 minutes; I will NEVER go to her salon and/or even regard to talk to her again. Save your $60 and find someone worthy of your hair whom can actually achieve your endeavor. Go to a salon in NY, you may pay alittle more, but you’ll definitely get what you want!!!!
