Critical: QualitySo let me start off by saying that I have been to this place over 40 times in the last 5 years. The quality had recently decreased and today was the absolute worst massage I have ever received.. anywhere! The person massaging me only put lotion on one arm, went and tended to a client at the door mid-massage and had absolutely no sequence or style to the massage. No lotion at all used on neck, no leg manipulation for massaging, no hand massage. I am not one to leave a negative review, actually I never have, but this was a complete waste of money. I would have gotten up mid-massage but I kept waiting to see if it got better. It didn’t! So let me start off by saying that I have been to this place over 40 times in the last 5 years. The quality had recently decreased and today was the absolute worst massage I have ever received.. anywhere! The person massaging me only put lotion on one arm, went and tended to a client at the door mid-massage and had absolutely no sequence or style to the massage. No lotion at all used on neck, no leg manipulation for massaging, no hand massage. I am not one to leave a negative review, actually I never have, but this was a complete waste of money. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI will not be coming back here anymore. The massages are always hit or miss; sometimes they’re lack luster and sometimes they’re good, which is why I would go back, rolling the dice for a “good one,” if that makes sense. But more importantly, the greed shown when it comes to money is such a turn off.For the second time now, the woman who runs the checkout counter has expressed unjustified and unprofessional displeasure regarding what I decided to tip.The first time it happened, she pretended as if my card was declining at checkout because she didn’t like the tip amount ($10) that I told her to add to my $45 bill. I know this because after asking her to try my card again because I knew it shouldn’t be declining, she asked if I would add more to the tip because my masseuse “worked very hard.” Because it was so unprofessional and such a turn off for her to pretend that the machine “declined” my purchase in an attempt to get more money from me, I told her no. And of course, after saying no, my card miraculously started working again. After this, I decided that I would not go back anymore, but after a few months I decided to give them one more chance. I shouldn’t have.This time, thinking I was prepared for these antics, I brought cash for my tip. At check out, I paid with my card and told her the tip would be in cash. Once I signed the receipt, I gave her the cash tip (she was also my masseuse this time) and she had the nerve to count it in my face and say to me, “Oh honey, I need more. Can you give a little more?” Regardless of what I decided to tip, her actions/comments were totally unprofessional, but for the sake of truly conveying how wrong this was, I would like to note that I gave her $12 on a $45 service. Even though the amount shouldn’t matter, what I tipped is considered to be a generous tip, and the fact that she was still trying to get more money out of me was just wrong and totally unprofessional. I truly learned my lesson this time and I won’t be back.I will not be coming back here anymore.
