Went in with long and healthy hair… met up with April and left crying in my car. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and after being in the salon for almost 5 hours she completely ruined my hair with bleach that she left on too long. She had to cut my hair because it was so damaged that when I ran my fingers through my hair, some strands will fall off. Never coming back… ever. I will look into blonde stylist better next time. When I got home I realized I had 3 different hair colors. Again, very disappointed. Before and after pictures. I don’t like posting things like this but I don’t want another person getting their beautiful hair ruined and wait for it to grow back again. The first 2 is my hair long and healthy and the rest is after the salon.

I first went to Zazú to see April. I arrived with my hair a disaster — a home dye job gone wrong that left my hair four very different colors — and have seen her twice over the last few months. In just the first session, April did an incredible job fixing my hair and making me feel beautiful again. I went from having red, black, grey, and blue hair to having a consistent, ashy grey with a perfect shadow root! On our second visit she was able to lighten my hair a bit more and make it the light shade of grey I had originally wanted to go for. She really is a true artist who cares about her clients and achieves breathtakingly beautiful results!

Oh my where do I begin? April is literally The BEST hairdresser out there! I followed her to this salon from her previous and when I met her my hair was dead, not growing much, and very thin. My hair now is thicker, much healthier and grows at least 5 inches in half a year, it has never been this great! She is amazing at what she does! Recently went in to take my extensions out and have my hair highlighted and bleached. It is beautiful, the colors are so vibrant and I love my layers! She is so sweet, and professional and explains what each thing is and what the next steps will be. I will never let anyone else touch my hair as long as she is working in this industry!

I went to Zazu in Naperville this past Friday. I was serviced by ToniB. I can’t even express how extremely patient and professional she was with me. I had found her on Instagram and immediately wanted her to do a color correction and silk press on me. She exceeded my expectations! I have received a ton of compliments in only a couple of days. I will absolutely be going back and she will be my go-to stylist from here on out. I’m very critical of stylists and I couldn’t find a single thing to criticize. She’s THE BEST!!! Thank you so much to ToniB and the staff at Zazu in Naperville. Everyone was extremely professional!

Couldn’t have been better! Everyone I interacted with was so so nice and very knowledgeable, Kasey helped match me with the perfect stylist and answered all my questions. I ended up booking with Maria and she truly exceeded all expectations I had for my very dry, damaged and home bleached hair. She was beyond sweet and willing to put in the extra work to help get my desired result! Nicolette took some amazing photos and videos to document the final product and I truly couldn’t be happier! Will definitely be coming back 🙂
