First time at Yen”s. Owner is very professional, friendly, and cuts great hair for men. Pricing is average. Environment is comfortable. Unlike other haircut places for men that give a vibe as if we are cattle. Only concerned about the next guy, at Yen”s you can tell they wanna make sure you are totally satisfied with your haircut. It has been a long time I find a non-assembly line type salon that cuts good hair. I expect this place to be my go-to haircut for a good while.

Do not try this place. After a poor highlight experience 10 years ago where I need up looking like a cheetah I decided to give this place another chance since it’s so close to my house. Big mistake. I’m a natural blonde and went in for highlights and a cut with Kim. I told her I wanted BLONDE blonde highlights. So how did they turn out pink/brown????!!!!! What’s worse is they she refused to fix my hair that night bc it was closing time and they closed on Sundays so she told me I would have to wait till Monday to fix it. Also they asked me to pay full price for this. Are you kidding me? My hair is already blonde, how hard is it to lighten blonde hair? I decided not to come back and let them try and fix it because she couldn’t tell me how she would fix the color. Also, the haircut is terrible!!! Totally uneven and the angle in the front was atrociously done. I included a before picture of my hair that I took right before I went in so you can tell my hair was already very blonde it wasn’t that she had to highlight over dark or dyed hair.

I met Yen and introduce me to Kim for my hair cut. Kim knows how to cut my hair the way I want it. She is very professional. The place is clean and neat.Every staff were friendly. This will definitely our favorite salon. Highly recommended. When salon starts to open it is time to find one and base on reviews Yen’s Hair & Tan Salon has high reviews. I called for an an appointment and within 15mins I was able to get one. I met Yen and introduce me to Kim for my hair cut. Kim knows how to cut my hair the way I want it. She is very professional. The place is clean and neat.Every staff were friendly. We are from Texas and needed hair cuts!! I was nervous not knowing anyone in the area!! We got right in and the two lady’s that cut our hair were so sweet and nice!! They did an excellent job on both mine and my daughters hair!! They even waited for my husband to come back for me to pay as he went and washed his truck with my purse in the truck!! Will return when back in the area!!
