Surprisingly, I found the exceptionally limited staff here to be fundamentally intolerant. I moved to the area in 2020 & was on the prowl for a local salon space to rent and thought that Wild Hair was in a prime location. The old guy (who seems to be part owner or manager) didn’t seem pleased with the idea of ethnic folk frequenting his salon (which is silly since I’m 10 years licensed I work with every texture known to man). Nonetheless, he asked a lot of questions assuming otherwise & made statements as if to deter my interest, luckily, I can take a hint & read between the lines very well. I then went on to read the reviews for this place (out of curiosity of what others had experienced) & my intuition was confirmed. Where there’s smoke there’s usually fire. They should just put a sign up because this is absolutely a whites only salon plain and simple. & that’s okay.

Walked in and the guy just stares at me when I say hello. Hes sitting on his salon chair watching a video. Then he gets up and walks away. So an old guy sweeping asks if he can help me, and I said do you do perms here he then walks back to where the original guy is and asks, at that point I realize I dont want do do business with a guy who ignores you and walks away
