I was very excited to try this place out! The staff was nice, not welcoming and friendly but nice overall. I got a pedicure, it was fine! Pretty color and the guy was nice. The guy who did my nails were also nice but I was overall disappointed in my nails. I asked for silver chrome and I got gold chrome. Some of my nails were crooked and not filed correctly/ evenly. I feel like shape is one of the most important but basic skill needed for nails. I wanted a star but unfortunately the guy was not able to complete that. This was not a problem but overall I walked out with a set that I didn’t ask for. I would go again to get another full set to try it out since the staff was friendly and I have heard such good things about this place. I would update the review after that!

went here once before today and didn’t have the best experience but thought i would go back and give them another shot. i was getting a full set with gel and i wanted coffin shape. she did not file the nails to make a coffin shape at all and left them very uneven and chunky looking. even after the nails not being coffin-shaped, i was still charged the up charge for coffin nails. i chose a glitter color and wanted white underneath but she couldn’t find the white so just painted a green-yellow under it instead with the glitter on top. she also didn’t do the acrylic powder all the way to the cuticle and it looks like my nails are growing out already. very upset with how my nails turned out and more than likely will not be retuning to this nail salon again.

The man who did my pedicure nicked me over and over. I told him it hurt and he didn’t seem to care. He didn’t apologize once. He nicked me so bad there are 2 cuts on the top of my toes that burn. I didn’t give this place 1 star because they do really great eyebrows.

Ive gone to Vs twice and both times left kinda disappointed. They’re right by campus so it’s usually busy, so my wait time was pretty long. When it came to the nail art that I wanted the 2nd time, it was pretty simple and I had a picture (1st pic). The artist rushed, so I asked her to try again to get it more accurate and showed her the pic again. She still didn’t quite get it, but I was in a hurry after waiting so long so I just paid and left. It was $77 with the “pay with cash” discount…yeah. I dont hate it, its just not quite worth the money. Really convenient location tho.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I’ve gone in the past and was disappointed, but decided to give them another try since it’s been a while and I needed my nails done for an event and didn’t have time to drive an hour to my usual place. I was once again disappointed. They try way too hard to fit in as many customers as possible instead of taking their time on the customers that are already there. I got a toenail polish and gel manicure on Thursday and was in and out in less than an hour. In my experience, a good gel manicure alone takes upwards of an hour. I got my nails done Thursday. It’s now Tuesday and my middle finger is already chipped – less than a week later! They sacrifice quality of their services for quantity of customers. It seems like their goal is to get people in and out in as short of time as possible not matter how badly the outcome is. Also, on more than one occasion my nail tech has been incredibly rude and short with me. On my most recent visit, I had to ask multiple times for them to “wrap” my tips to make the gel last longer which thankfully I did otherwise the gel would’ve started to peel even sooner than it already has. Also, the nail tech didn’t let me cure my nails for an extra 60 secs at the end of the manicure (if you’re familiar w/ gel, you know that after the top coat you generally cure your nails for two “rounds”), and she didn’t wipe the gel off with alcohol at the end either. I will not be visiting again.

On June 8 I went to get my nails done for the first time at V’s nails. I was super excited because I had heard great things about the company. Until on June 12 I took a look at my full set and saw that they looked like they needed a refill. So I called them to let them know about how the nails looked. One person told me to come in and the owner would fix the problem. I don’t have a car so I Uber there spending extra money to there just for the owner to tell me that my nails just grow fast. Came to V’s nails with the intention of having a good experience due to all of the good reviews… I went in around 12:40 didn’t leave until 3:30, wait was super long because they only take walk ins so they were super busy, granted it was a Saturday but appointments help control the crazy. Took me about 5 minutes to get in a chair for a pedicure waited about 15 minutes before that was started, that experience was good. Waited 30 to 45 minutes to get my nails done, the lady doing my nails was super rushed and did not seem like she wanted to be doing my nails whatsoever and she did not do a very good job they are super sick and a few of my nails are uneven(it’s a little hard to tell from pictures) The prices are also a little bit outrageous, paid $45 for gel polish on my toes and $50 for a full set but that price was expected ended up paying over $100 for the whole experience. If you want to wait for a while and pay 2x as much for your nails, then this is the place for you.
