I was referred to Voodoo by a coworker who also has curly hair. I had previously been unable to get my curly hair to look reasonable, or remotely good! Stacie has now cuts, styled, and highlighted my hair three times. I absolutely love what she has done, value what she has taught me, and consistently use all of the products she has pointed me to. She knew how to cut and shape my curly hair so that it does not look like a triangle. Stacie has been able to do my highlights in a way that they look natural and well blended, even when they grow out. Stacie recommends a product and sticks to it, rather than recommending something new every time I’m in. She is very thoughtful and really listens to what I am trying to do with my hair.. and I always defer to her recommendation! On top of it all, Stacie kind, down to earth, and easy going. I highly recommend her and voodoo hair salon!!

Kirby cut and styled my hair today and I couldn’t be happier. I have very thick hair and I usually have trouble finding a stylist who can thin my hair. Kirby has a special razor-like comb and she lighten my head by a couple of pounds. She has given me a brilliant cut that I can manage.

I booked an appointment with Kimberly and I’m unbelievably happy with my bayalage cut and color!! I wasn’t sure what to expect as I never really get my hair done. She kindly walked me through all of my coloring options and was patient with me while I gained some comfort with this new experience for myself. I’m absolutely in love with my color- she did an excellent and highly skilled job at blending in subtle highlights and my existing little amount of grey. The cut itself is perfect as well. She really understood the wispy layered cut that I was seeking. I feel great! Thank you so much- I’ll be back!

Ashley is wonderful! I went in wanting a change to my hair but was wanting her expert opinion on what would be best to do, and Ashley listened and looked at pictures I showed her, and her idea turned out to be exactly the change I was looking for! Love it! She’s very detailed in explaining what she’s doing to your hair, takes her time and doesn’t make you feel like she’s rushing you out of there, and you can tell she really cares about making you feel good about your hair. Looking forward to having her as my new stylist!

I went to Nicki for a beard trim. I’ve been to several people for beard trims around Boulder and I’m always disappointed. This caused me to style my own beard which can be challenging. Then I found Nicki. She is meticulous and does a fantastic job. She listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy. She also has a very calm demeanor and is comfortable to be around. I highly suggest her for beard trims and hair cuts.

I have been going to Voodoo for about 3 years. All of my haircuts there have been great, so much so that I have used a photo from one of them as a reference ever since. The photo always gets me most of the way to what I am looking for when I show it to a stylist, but today I had Tyler and he really killed it, he checked out the photo, asked a few questions, and nailed exactly what I was looking for. He had great attention to detail and nailed the lengths and style I was going for 100%.
