Critical: QualityI signed in and asked for a pedicure and full set. I have long natural nails, but wanted them trimmed then a tip with acrylic applied to achieve a proper coffin shaped nail. My pedicure by Lena was great. My nails by Anna look terrible. She ignored my request for tips, instead only applying acrylic over my natural nail and filed them to some bizarre shape that looks nothing like a coffin shape or the picture I showed her of my friends nails. I spent $120 and came back with a $25 for the two of them, but then felt terrible about the way my nails looked. I asked her to file them more coffin and she argued with me, didn’t try to reshape them, then denied me a refund for my nails. I’ll never go back. This broad doesn’t know what she’s doing. I have acrylic and glue all over my skin, and under my nails. My nails are just plain bad. 4 nails chipped over a period of 7-11 days. The 5th nail polish came off completely just before leaving for vacation. When I returned and spoke with I think the owner. Her response was no fix. I continued explaining my dissatisfaction and her response redo two completely and patch three. I told her not acceptable and not what I paid for. She then refused to talk to me and walked away. My question why redo only two and not the other 3? Will not be going back or make any referrals. Stay away if you want quality service.

My friend and I both called ahead and made appointments for dip manicures. When we arrived there was no one else in the salon and no one came in the entire time we were there so there was absolutely no rush to do our nails. We both left with lumpy, bumpy, uneven dip manicures. They’re very thick, the tech did at least 2 coats of primer and 5 or 6 coats of the color and then 2 top coats on my nails. They’re dented in places and overall just not good. There are also spots on most nails where the tech didn’t do top coat all the way to the edge so they’re already scuffed up. I don’t understand why they didn’t take their time since we were the only people there but now I see why. Also, they gave us a hard time about tipping on a debit/credit card. It’s not often you see places that only accept cash as tips and it was clear they were annoyed we didn’t bring cash.

Came here for the first time and left extremely disappointed. I asked for marble nails and was given scribbles. The lady was extremely rude and did a terrible job THEN charges me $75 for the awful/half worked job. I will never be back and be sure to tell people to not come here.

I bought my wife a $100 gift card for her birthday for this location. We moved over 45 minutes away and she made a special trip out there to get her nails done for her college graduation. The sign says they accept walk ins and she was told that they could do a pedicure and a full set. The nail tech started doing the pedicure and then 5 minutes in let’s my wife know that she can’t do both services and that she would have to come back a completely different day. If they were unable to do everything that my wife asked for they should not have accepted the job that day. I talked to the manager and he was very unprofessional. While I was on the phone with the manager the nail tech was in the background screaming. Also the nail tech crossed her arms and told my wife so do you want me to do this or not with a very bad attitude. After I talked to the manager my wife tried to continue conversation with him and he said he already handled it with your husband which made it seem like he didn’t care about what she had to say because he spoke to the man of the house. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go to the nail salon at the corner of pleasant valley and broadview if you want to be treated with respect. Terrible terrible experience with VIP Nails. Never again

i asked for a coffin shape and my nails are crooked, uneven to my other nails and my tech couldn’t even give me a glitter top coat. also she didnt speak to me at all, she was twisting my fingers in a million different positions and it hurt and she got glue all over my fingers which i am still trying to remove. my nail tech was anna. i dont even want to go back to get them fixed. dont recommend.

the man was a little rude to me and i kept asking politely if he could fix my nails and said they are fine the are no where near for what i asked for i asked for a bright pink and they are a dark purple and there are a lot of air bubbles and dirt inside it looks like confetti Dip powder
