Really !!!
This is the weirdest tribe I have ever seen, but overall she did a good job. I really didn’t like the way she kept trying to bribe me for more money by lying about the price, and telling me I couldn’t use the hair that I bought..(girl really). Just be honest so your customers will return, cus I’m not  Braids

Victoria did my Senegalese braids , they was neat and not too tight. I would definitely go again to her for my braids.

I try my best to support small, female led businesses when available. I went in & paid $120 for a (supposedly) protective style which was six feed in braids. The braids were acceptable however my head began hurting due to too much hair being used on the braids at the bottom which created unnecessary weight or tension on my natural hair/hairline and poses a risk of damaging such. I respectfully called the shop 30 minutes before they opened the following day to ask if someone could reduce the hair at the end of the braids & was told they’re busy & no on else is available until maybe Tuesday (four days later). I’m going to take the braids down & will NEVER patronize them again. In addition these foreigners or Africans/Haitians are the most prejudice that it gets. They have no respect, courtesy or care for Black American women beyond our high dollar value that’s why it’s no “bedside manners” or hospitality in their shops. We have to wake up & continue to support who supports us despite color because it isn’t them.

They do good work but are NOT professional or pleasant. The braider had a attitude the entire time. They were also over 30 mins late which is a huge turn off when you know you’re going to be there a good 6 hours. Did apologize or anything. I attempted to give them a second chance for a refresh. I reached as agreed to solidify a time and no response. I’m not begging anyone to take my money in 2022. I will not be returning.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAll I can say is THANK YOU! I needed a “refresher” on my box style braids. This shop did an AMAZING job! They did not have to correct someone’s else’s work but they did. I walked out looking like a new woman! They are very professional and care about the work they do! Go there if you are looking for beautiful braids.Service: Box Braids

Critical: Professionalism, QualityThe young girl is very unprofessional she had me make an appointment then texts me a day before saying how the style I wanted would take 8 to 9 hours and that she didn’t like the way I acted ast time. They did my hair several times. I asked her about a feed in ponytail she said she could do let’s just say my hair didn’t come out as expected I paid and left she was mad because I kept telling her she was making the braids to big to achieve the look I wanted I never got angry with them or curse none of that I don’t recommend going here If I could give no stars I wouldService: HairstylingThe young girl is very unprofessional she had me make an appointment then texts me a day before saying how the style I wanted would take 8 to 9 hours and that she didn’t like the way I acted ast time. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went to Victoria African Hair Braiding against my better judgement. I have only had success with one African braider. The others braided my hair way too tight and I lost edges. I BEGGED (repeatedly) the braider not to braid my edges too tight and to not try to braid my baby hairs into the braids. She asked me if the braids were too tight while braiding the back and they felt ok. When she got to the front of my head she braided those way tighter. When I looked in the mirror, I could see my skin pulling on my edges and they looked crazy because she had braided like 4 or 5 strands of my hair into each braid. My edges are fragile and I could imagine pulling out that whole section of hair taking them down. Plus, too many braids made my hair look like a Barbie doll’s hairline. Also I couldn’t put my glasses on (my other braider takes that into account). Also, she left a huge chunk of my edges out, not the baby hairs like I asked. I don’t think she understood the point of what I was saying. Long story short, I asked her to rebraid it looser and got a huge pushback. She didn’t outright refuse, but it took a lot of back and forth. I let her know that my edges would fall out with these braids. She was still saying it was my fault. I just got someone else to do it because I didn’t know if she would ever call back. But she did. I was going to give it one star, but I gave it two because you never know. She might have corrected it. Bottom line, if you want your edges, stay away.Service: BraidsI went to Victoria African Hair Braiding against my better judgement. I am giving this shop five stars because they well desire it. I went to this under the impression that it was still under Zena’s, so I took a chance with them, well I am very pleased with the service that they have been providing to my hair. The lady that braided my hair did a GREAT job. I am going to keep this a my go to hair braiding shop. Try them out and you WILL NOT be disappointed.
