Most shops charge wayyyy too much money and you still have to sit and wait for someone to come do your hair. I got crochet locs this is my first time getting them. Everyone like the style on me i don’t think it fits me plus she used way to much hair. I’m having a hard time getting it in a ponytail. I will definitely be back to get my hair done here again. I like this shop the price is always reasonable. Most shops charge wayyyy too much money and you still have to sit and wait for someone to come do your hair. Critical: ProfessionalismI have come here many years and every time I schedule an appointment the braider is always late. I never complained until this last time. I arrived at the shop and no one was there. I kept calling the owner with no answer. I finally received a call back 30 mins later saying the person who was scheduled to braid my hair needed a ride due to mechanical issues. Which meant she never left the house at a time to be at the shop by 10 am anyways if you’re just communicating this. I said no worries will you be willing to provide some sort of compensation for me waiting and she said no. Not $5. Not $10. Nothing. At that point, I realized me going here for years meant nothing and I refused to go back. I had been going to Victoire African Hair Braiding since 2018. Always a good hair style, but most recently my hair has looked very old, not what I asked for and the worst micros I have ever had. Pattie normally does my micros braids. This time she had a attitude and didn’t care how she did my hair. The braids big, hair sticking out and only 2weeks old. These are more like weak small box braids. Def not the micros I asked for focused of getting. I already lost 3 or 4. Also I have never bought over 2 packs of human hair for these braids. She told me after 3yrs, I didn’t have enough packs of hair. They went up on the price for braids that took 2hrs less time than normal. A HUGE disappointment. I should’ve known better, she messed up my hair last time when I selected another style. I gave them a 2nd chance, but never again! Oh and I reached out to owner, sent pictures too. No response!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI was a faithful customer coming here for months. Then all of a sudden they stopped answering my calls. I’m not sure what I did as a customer to be treated like that except call days in advance to make an appointment, come on time for those appointments & tip (at first). Then all of a sudden the last 2 times I made an appointment it was issues for the stylist. I had an appointment scheduled and literally on my way to the appointment I got a text saying something happened and could I come in the next day. I informed her I couldn’t come the next day because I work that next day (which is why I SCHEDULED an appt for when I did) then she said to come in later that same day which I did, it was a last min change for me but I made it work. The next appt I made I got to it ON TIME & no one was there! I called and was told something happened on her end AGAIN and could I come in the next day. Once again I couldn’t because I had to work. So again last min had to come in later that day even though I had appointments both times. Even with all the issues coming from their end I still tried to come back because I genuinely loved the braiders work. Now they won’t even answer the phone for me as if I did something wrong. My time was not respected or taken into consideration TWICE and now you can’t even answer the phone for me? What did I do wrong as a customer to be treated this way when I worked around YOUR issues more than once?
