Had such a nice experience at Vickery Haircuts! The shop is clean and nicely furnished and there were a few stylists with their own section. I made an appt beforehand and was promptly seen on time. All workers were friendly and the background music was upbeat and fun. Very pleased with my haircut as well!

Tried them for the first time yesterday based on the Google reviews. Even though Diana was highly praised online, I decided to just wing it and show up with no appointment. ‘Pinky’ seated me immediately, very pleasant Indian woman. She was friendly but not too chatty, and did a fantastic job, especially considering that I was trying something a bit different. She followed my guidelines and then made suggestions based on how it was coming out and she was right on the money. Pretty unusual for me to have a fresh cut look good right away. I have very fine hair and it is a challenge to cut, the slightest mistake shows. $17 was a very good price, not much more than a walk-in chain store, and I like the fact that they charge the same for a basic cut for men and women. At that price you can leave a generous tip and still get a very reasonable deal. It’s never seemed fair that women have to pay $5-10 more just for a simple cut. As I was leaving Diana made a point of greeting me as I was a new customer. Little touches like that make a big difference and show that you’re dealing with a customer-oriented business. There were a couple of people waiting by the time I left so if you are showing up at 6:30 it may be wise to call ahead. I’ll be back!
