Sadly, at least one star is required to leave a review, otherwise I would leave zero stars. I would never have darkened their door if I had just been smart enough to visit the reviews first. My first few visits to Venus Nails were uneventful and the quality of work was acceptable, however, my most recent visit was horrible. I think I can sum up what you can expect from this salon and how you can avoid being a problem customer.

Ms. Anna did an awesome white tip French manicure. Nothing prettier to me. Mr. Liam did an awesome pedicure. Thank you both!

Do a good job on my nails, decent prices. Cordial but not like super friendly that’s the only reason I don’t just like LOVE the place like I’ve been twice now for gel fill ins and they maybe said a total of 20 words. I’m not big on small talk but they don’t talk about their services or like anything really..like I got vibes it was a chore to do my nails basically. But they’ve done a great job on my nails it just sucks to go somewhere and feel that way.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI called and made an appointment for a pink and white fill-in and cut-down. The gentlemen that started on my nails stated several times that I “startled him” or “scared him” by moving my fingers and hands slightly as he was filing down my nails. I was sitting quietly and barely moving so I have no clue what he was talking about but I thought that was a very odd thing for him to say. Then a lady took over and immediately complained that I had not asked for a “cut-down” prior to the gentleman filing my nails for so long and said it would now take much longer. I corrected her that I had stated that I wanted a “pink and white fill-in and cut-down” both when I called to make the appointment, and when I first sat down with the gentlemen who started on my nails. She acted liked it was a bother to do my nails. She also did not get the “coffin” shape right either, it’s more of a “square-round.”. She also charged me $5 more than the price stated on the brochure by the cash register in their shop. She charged me $40 for a pink and white fill-in and cut-down which is extremely high considering my regular nail shop in Huntsville, (who has nice employees and does quality work), only charges me $45 for a full, brand new set. I was so ready to get out of this environment at that point that I just paid the price she asked me to pay and left. I did not feel like arguing with her over $5. They also were openly talking badly amongst themselves about two clients who had walked in for service not long before closing time..They agreed to take them but then talked down to them about coming in close to 5 PM. I’m sorry but I will not be back here unless it is a last resort. There are too many other quality nail salons that will do a better job and actually appreciate having work in the beauty industry in the middle of a global pandemic.I called and made an appointment for a pink and white fill-in and cut-down. I love the job he does on my pedicures. I drive 30 minutes to come here. His wife is very unfriendly. Today I drove out here to find out he wouldn’t be in until 1 which was a 2 hour wait. I went outside and waited and came back in at 12:45 just to be told he couldn’t get to me. I come monthly and I tip generously. I probably will continue to come because he is good and cheap but they could definitely improve on their customer service.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis was my first and last visit. They don’t listen to direction. Was very rude upon arrival. When I would ask her to fix the shape she would roll her eyes and jerk my hand around. And when stating that I did not like the work and ask her to fix them she told me to leave. I will never go back.Service: Acrylic nails

The husband is very friendly but he gets really mad if when he puts my shoes back on and messes up the polish. The wife is a little rude. She acts like she doesn’t want to be bothered. She actually told me not to talk to her!!!!!I’ve decided to find another salon. Manicure, Pedicure

Best nail job I have ever received. I have a small nail bed and it is not the easiest to work with. The woman in charge was so sweet as well as talented. They had a small childeren chair for my grand daughter to recieve a pedicure at the same time. Great customer service and great nails.
