She is thoughtful, nice and has a good taste. Salon atmosphere is warm and quiet, front desk girl is very nice and efficient. I am glad I picked this place!!

I came to this salon because the online review is pretty good. Since this is the first time, I did not ask for specific stylist as I do not really know any of them. I did two things, coloring and trimming the ends, one would think these are pretty standard tasks. I have been quite active on my hair thus know a thing or two about these. First coloring, I asked for a darker color than what I had before. It turned out to be very very very dark. I blame myself since I did not confirm the color before it was applied and I was not asked to confirm either. I trusted the stylist… Anyway that is not the main problem. The main issue I have is that it seems the techniques of applying the color was completely inappropriate, as I found out that I got lots of color all over my scalp after I came back home. I did not realize that in the store. On a hind sight, it seems that when the color is applied it did not try to avoid/protect scalp (thought this is basic skill of a stylist!), not even mentioning there are many stains on the forehead and ears! As a result now after two days, I still have black color on my pillow… Pretty bad, I have been doing coloring of my hair for decades and this is the first time like this!! I have been trying to wash my hair as much as I can but still two day later, my pillow is stained. I am quite disappointed as the stylist does have very good attitude, patient and store looks pretty clean and nice… BUT result matters! I have hoped this would be my go to place for hair since it is very close to my new home now I will need to continue searching for new salon…
