It was my first time coming to this hair salon to get a Dominican blowout and I loved the results. My only two concerns were the lady washing my hair was way too rough and she was combing my hair out of my scalp instead of detangling correctly. I have natural 4c textured hair and I would appreciate it if they would be gentle. My second concern is when they flat iron they don’t give you what you ask for, for example I asked for my hair to be bumped. Instead she had me walking out with straight hair. I recommend this place because they are friendly and get the job done.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went into Vanessa’s today with my daughter. Her hair was already shampooed, conditioned and detangled. I also bought my own Kenra blow dry spray. I walked in at 11:46a and there were only 2 other ladies waiting and from what I I can see 4 workers. I waited for I over and hour and a half no one said a word to us the other customers was leaving and the workers was talking amongst themselves. You would think they would be courteous enough to say we’ll be with you in a few minutes or something but nothing. It was if we weren’t there. They lost out on $50 and a $25 tip. behind horrible customer service.My advice is to be prepared to wait and if you want a salon with good customer service this one is not the one.I went into Vanessa’s today with my daughter. I went into Vanessa’s today with my daughter. Her hair was already shampooed, conditioned and detangled. I also bought my own Kenra blow dry spray. I walked in at 11:46a and there were only 2 other ladies waiting and from what I I can see 4 workers. they need to do a lil better with the time organization bc I got my hair washed and it hurted, it was not enjoyable then I had to wait an extra 2 hours to get it flat iorned bc I got a silk press . I also told her to make sure she put heat protector on bc I didn’t want any heat damage. First time getting my hair flat iorned In like 5 years and I loved it . Curls did come back

I come all the way from Mississippi to get my hair done here. The ladies here always take good care of me. They are great at doing natural hair. I leave with my hair feeling nice and light. I highly recommend them ( and I’m picky). I normally get my hair done by Esperanza, but they are all good.

I was a walk in so there was a bit of a wait, but they took me straight to get my wash and deep condition.Once I made it to her chair. I was done in about 30-45 minutes and that included a trim. For the first time in all of my years.. I was turned to the mirror for a trim and during the process in general.This will be my new spot! Shh.. don’t tell everyone. They do a nice job doing your hair but yet they treat it like a library they want you to be in silence ( Signs around the shop telling you to please be quiet) and yet they only speak in Spanish and the ask you 1 or 2 questions like would you get done to your hair and do you like.. I was one of the 13 customers that were there and of the 13 customers 2 of them spoke Spanish everybody else spoke English. Not very nice to the customers but they did a very good job on my hair

Experience here was awful came around 2 didn’t leave until closing time ( did I mention I was the last one to leave when I arrived ahead of several other clients ) paid 58$ to get a silk press the person who worked on my head did a rush job . YES my hair smelled amazing YES it was so soft and YES it was fluffy ….. But wait people WHO HAIR IS SUPPOSE TO BE FLUFFY WHEN THEY JUST PAID FOR A SILK PRESS . ( that night I wrapped my hair with satin scalf and a bonnet ) NEXT MORNING: Edges was BACK FRIZZY hair POOF like a poodle still soft NO BODY JUST FRIZZ AND ROUGH EDGES . Now to say I paid 58$ for a silk press I would at least expect to look like I JUST left the salon NOT like a Puff poodle . ( all in the matter of 24 hrs ) NEVER AGAIN .
