Sonny seemed to have an attitude the minute I walked in. He was rough “clearly the photos” I jerked multiple times and he held my hand down. When he was was cleaning out from underneath my nail I said you have to stop it hurts. His response was “what” then proceeded to tell me my nails would have been clean if wouldn’t have went somewhere else before. I was bleeding and he acted like he didn’t even see it. I was bleeding on 3 DIFFERENT nails to be exact. I was in tears. He also tried to do 1 coat of polish and give a big huff when I asked for 2 because it looked horrible. Still does with 2 coats. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m only giving this place one star because it’s required in order to leave a comment. My experience here was absolutely terrible. I paid $40 for gel polish, and the color started chipping the day I got them done—even worse, it wasn’t even 24 hours and all the polish came off on one of my nails. Called and tried to get a refund and the staff was very rude and refused to give me a refund. The nail job in general was very sloppy. The lady that did my nails didn’t even put a base coat on a couple of my nails. Would NOT recommend this place. I’m only giving this place one star because it’s required in order to leave a comment. My experience here was absolutely terrible. I paid $40 for gel polish, and the color started chipping the day I got them done—even worse, it wasn’t even 24 hours and all the polish came off on one of my nails. Critical: QualityLast two times I have gotten gel acrylic, the paint chipped in less than a week and the second time in just one day! A $50 fill should not be chipping I’m two days. Will have them fix and will not be returning. They took us to the back room after waiting 10 minutes. The lady started my sister’s pedicure while I sat in a chair without water or anything started. The lady did my sister’s entire pedicure in under 10 minutes! I still was not started and my sister was now finished. I ended up not getting a pedicure as my sister and I drove together and she needed to get home to her baby. Every time I come to UV Nails I receive courteous and prompt care. My nails are lovely and it is a relaxing experience. I cannot imagine the comment made below that the owner is rude and offensive to younger woman, for surely something would have come out of that complaint a long time ago. I paid 70 dollars for a pedicure and a fill with gel. I have never paid more than 50 dollars for these services. I walked in and show them a picture of design and one said that they were able to do it and when I was finally getting my nails painted and he asked if I wanted anything I showed him the picture and he said he couldn’t do it. Once I got home my finger nails were drying weird by the cuticle. The gel top coat wasn’t put over my full nail! I have been to some bad salons but this was by far the worst!

The only reason i am rating this place as a two is I received a wonderful pedicure from Vanessa two weeks ago. SHE is worth 5 stars. I loved her so much i made an appointment to come back today at the open time of 11am to do my full set of acrylics, unfortunately not with Vanessa as she does not do acrylics.

One star too many. Sonny was completely inappropriate. Did not give my daughter a full pedicure yet charged for it. The gel color picked did not match the color being applied. He insisted it was the same and decided to argue with me. Tried saying the color on the samples shows up different than on regular nails….. either way, she wanted a color that matched the one she picked. Found a new color and he applied it over the first color – resulting in a different color. We stopped there, decided against her gel manicure and my pedicure. Won’t ever go back. I hated paying $48 for half a service, rudeness and wrong color but arguing wasn’t going to get me anywhere.
