Absolutely disappointing. I have curly hair and I came in to get layers. I pulled up pictures on Pinterest of exactly what I wanted. The lady who cut my hair was supposedly a “curly hair specialist” however, she refused to cut the layers I wanted even after telling her I wanted more. She only created long layers so there was practically no difference. I kept insisting that I wanted it exactly like the picture since that was my hair type and I wanted to be like that. She refused. So basically I paid $50 for a hair wash and nothing. I don’t recommend going if you want layers in your curly hair.

DON’T GO THERE!!! paid almost $300 for a BB & cut, then had to pay almost $400 to another saloon to fix it 4 days later… the layered cut was uneven by up to 1″ in some places, nothing about the cut was correct, the BB did work either it fell straight out on the first wash & their idea of making it right was to offer a cheap $40 wash & dry – like really!!! Total waste of money & time… I like to support local business but not anymore, this place is not worth the time or money, they don’t care about your needs just trying to sell overpriced stuff…

I’ve been going to urban eve in angleton for awhile now. It was nice to know I didn’t have to drive to LJ to get my hair done. First of all I’ve never had anyone try to sell me salon products on the side. I think that story is a bit odd. They usually take you to the products and explain which one would be the best for your hair. Furthermore, the staff is very nice and accommodating. Yes, sometimes they trade off to help each other. I don’t understand why that is a problem seeing how they are all liscenced professionals. I’ve never had a bad cut or color. I suggest you find one stylist and stick with her so you don’t have to worry about who you get. I’d say both locations are great. I’ve never experienced a problem. Just be completely clear on what your needs are. Take into account that if you don’t have enough hair they may not be able to do exactly what you want. Sometimes more hair is required than what you have. Try to be realistic and no I don’t work there. This is just my opinion. Take it or leave it.

I had been a faithful client of Urban Eve in Lake Jackson. This was my first visit to Urban Eve in Angleton. I have always loved my hair appointments with Urban Eve Lake Jackson so was expecting similar results with Urban Eve in Angleton. I had business in the Angleton area and wanted to make an appointment for a shampoo and style. I ended up making the appointment online because Angleton UE did not answer their phone. I made the appointment with a higher leveled stylist which also came with a higher price. When I arrived everyone was very nice and accommodating. When I was shown where to sit for my salon session to begin, my stylist that I made the appointment with turned me over to her associate whom she is training. I was not asked if I minded for the person in training to shampoo and style my hair in place of the one I made the appointment with. Nothing wrong with being trained but when you make an appointment and have expectations for an appointment with an experienced stylist and don’t get that and then on top of that still have to pay the high price for the experience you did not get is very rude to the client and not a good business practice. I will not be back.

I went to get my eyebrows done for prom this weekend and the experience was ok except what I have is bad 1. The wax wasn’t ready for my 11 o’clock appointment (which is fine but for these standards they really arnt there) 2. She left Aton of wax on my face so I’m having to figure out how to deal with this, 3. There’s a whole part she didn’t bother to try and get and so now my brows look uneven leaving me to fix them 4. It cost 21 dollars plus a 5 dollar tip totaling up to 26 dollars for a messy job. The wax left on I would of been fine with but with her having me leave with messy uneven brows and for that price is unacceptable, as of right now I don’t plan on returning to that location for a simple eyebrow waxing.

Her work makes me feel confident and beautiful every time.
