If I could give this nail salon -10 stars I would because they definitely deserve it. I moved to the area from Waldorf and the service doesn’t compare to the upscale salons I’ve visited in the surrounding areas. I looked at the reviews before I visited and they were decent reviews. I’m actually sitting in front of the salon writing this because I’m highly disappointed. I sat in the first chair closest to the door, the technician did not share her name. However, I was in and out in 7 minutes for a natural manicure. I would’ve been better off biting my nails off. I asked for advise because one of my nails has split for a few weeks and was told there is nothing any technician can do for me, stop hitting my nail. My cuticles were not treated before the technician began clipping. My hands are very dry, I had to ask for cuticles oil before walking out of the door. The technician used Victoria secret lotion which is not made for use on hands and nails in a salon. Then the employees started speaking a language I didn’t understand and all of them looked back at me which makes me believe the conversation was about me, embarrassing… it is safe to say that you will receive outstanding support if you know the technician personally or if you are a regular customer that has visited for a long time.

The work at this shop is excellent… nail technicians are great! BUT the owner/manager is RUDE as hell!!!!! Nasty attitude especially if you are polite. If you are rough with her she backs down but lord I knows the atmosphere is not relaxed. I’ve been going there for years. Its it’s in a convenient location, good work, etc etc but I can’t do the attitude and random pricing any more. Every time you go different price. Keep your receipts and see for yourself.

While I think they do excellent work, I am very disappointed in how the do business. They do not give a full disclosure of pricing until after they provide the service. I have been told of price increases when it was time to pay. And recently I was charged additional funds because my nails were “long.” However, I was not told THIS until it was time to pay. I feel their business practices are deceitful. I have made the decision to not patronize them any further.

I will never go back again. I explained to the tech to take her time due to she was rushing with my full set. I should have followed my instinct and left. When it was completed my nails were sloppy, uneven, and not what asked for. She was extremely rude when I demanded for her to fix my nails. She didn’t even do that right. 3 days later one of my nails was coming off. Another shop, fixed my nails and thought that I had my nails for 2 weeks. I’m done!

I have been going to this nail salon for the past 10 years. Over the years, Tina has been doing my nails and my pedicure was done by some of the others. But in the recent years Tina has become a very nasty person is the owner of the salon. When she have her attitudes she will treat you mean put other customers in front of you and make you wait to get your services done. One instance, she told me because I didn’t pay in cash that the next time I come she will charge me extra to get my nails done. She blatantly told me to Go somewhere else. This is not how you treat a repeat customer. After today I will never return to that shop again.

Very clean environment and I observed the technicians sterilizing equipment between customers. The technician provided thorough massage, buffing and callouse removal. There were enough chairs to seat my mother, my daughters and myself at the same time beside one another with almost no wait. The technicians were very friendly and pedicure starts at $20.00 so the price is right. It is adjacent to a fish restaurant so there is mild smell but I didn’t notice after a few minutes.

Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this shop. Tina is amazing!! I’ve been going to Tina before she decided to own her own salon. I follow her wherever she goes and she is always pleasant and tries to accommodate you the best way possible!! Her staff is always pleasant and professional with me! If you do not get seen for a while it is simply because she has a mass clientele and is always packed because of the work she do.
