Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve been here maybe 2 times a year when I can’t get an appointment elsewhere! Last resort, place has been dirty for over 5 years, staff is very unprofessional, but funny, and yes old and out dated, no one has never been rude to me. I’ve read many reviews so people who wrote clean. No it’s not very dusty and dirty, makes me question where you’ve gotten your nails done, 2nd they are unprofessional, again makes me wonder what type of people you deal with, this place is trash, even the back room, so as a older woman who understands great quality I honestly can’t believe the good reviews maybe you need to venture to Northbrook and see real quality work. I’ve been here maybe 2 times a year when I can’t get an appointment elsewhere! Last resort, place has been dirty for over 5 years, staff is very unprofessional, but funny, and yes old and out dated, no one has never been rude to me. I’ve read many reviews so people who wrote clean. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI never write reviews. I have been getting mani & pedi since I was literally 8 years old. I told myself that I would never go back here after the last Management treated me so bad; he was so rude & disrespectful. Well after hearing they were under new management, I gave them another chance. I went with my mom & had a much better experience with the girl that did our pedi. However, yesterday a man by the name of “How” lost them a customer…forever. There was a somewhat language barrier, that was only intensified by his lack of listening skills. I made an appointment for a gel mani and a pedi for my birthday vacation. My pedi actually turned out ok, even though he NEVER PICKED UP A SINGLE NAIL FILE….my nails were “shaped” with nail clippers???? My skin was only “grated” off – never filed. I have NEVER seen that before, but as he made VERY clear, he was in a rush to the next customer. It wasn’t until my toe nail color was being applied, did he notify me that the tigers-eye gel polish would not look the same as the sample on shorter nails. So, I was still unsure of the color I should pick; after all, I was about to spend $60 on just my gel mani. That’s when he talked to me with complete disrespect, saying “I need to pick a color” also that I had to hurry so that he could take care of the next customer. He had JUST told me that the gel polish I picked wouldn’t look the same!! It a state of disbelief at his customer service, I told him to forget the mani, and just charge me for the pedi. I went to the UV nail drying table and turned it on myself, and as I did, the woman he was rushing to get to…walked out. He lost 2 customers with his attitude. Then he had the nerve to say “well she left, want me to do your nails now”. I told him that I do not want to spend any more of my money in this place. I had been friendly and kind throughout my entire pedi & half of the time he ignored me, or didn’t understand me (which I could understand if he was actually trying to listen). I told myself that I would never go back here after the last Management treated me so bad; he was so rude & disrespectful. Critical: QualityWent here a few months ago. ‘no chip’ gel chipped after two days.A couple of months later, needed my nails done and couldn’t find a place with availability, so decided to give them one more shot. Nails were lopsided and the no chip ended up chipping again after a couple of days. Not to mention their prices are high. Would not recommend at all.
