I never write reviews but this place deserves one…. Amazing!! My first time here yesterday, and I have to say this is the best nail salon I have been to. Service is amazing, humor kept it entertaining as I was there. And, I don’t know the gentleman’s name, but he did an amazing job at taking care of me! He made sure I was OK… for example he thought he hurt my finger and asked if I was okay(never had a nail tech make sure I wasn’t hurt), he asked my opinion on the design BEFORE he continued with the rest of the nails.. I came in with a picture of an idea and he did AMAZING at matching the idea. I will DEFINITELY be coming back! He said his wife is amazing at detail, so I’m exciting for the future when she gets back from vacation so I can have her do my nails if that’s possible the next time I go 🙂

Over all bad experience. Knocked me and my sister. Charged her $140 and only did the design she wanted on a few of her nails. Left one with just a clear coat. It was a simple marbled design. Made her pick out the colors from the picture herself by throwing the swatches at her. Made her cry then got even more mean by purposefully using the file on her skin. Got blue polish on her leg seemly on purpose because where did she even get blue from? Out of the three of us none of us got blue. They did all this to a PREGNANT WOMAN! Was filing the tops of our nails with a regular nail file. No cleaning of tools happened the entire time we were there. Originally picked a silver but was it was just a top coat and picked a red just like it from the same swatch pallet knowing it was also a top coat but apparently that was fine. I’m sure it’s just because they didn’t know what color they used for the base coat of the swatch. This is the first place I’ve been to where I can understand how some people get infections every time they visit this type of salon. Very lazy, over priced, and rude staff.

I made an appointment and sent a picture of what I wanted when I made the appointment. Nails are lumpy and the nail designs were very rushed because it started getting busy. They also tore up my cuticles which were very clean and taken care of before I came in. Would not recommend and do not be deceived by the pictures they post. I’ve gone to sooo many nail salons across the country and I’m happy to say that tipsy nails and spa is the best salon I’ve ever been to. From the kindness of the artists to the quality of work, everything they do here is amazing. I’m always satisfied with my nails, they always get me in last minute, and they are always very attentive to detail.

Just don’t!! The manicurist that did my nails didn’t speak a word of English. Impossible to communicate what I wanted and it was awkward. The file he used to shape my nails was very used…pretty disgusting. My mistake, I should have walked out. Here’s the worst part….he used his long sharp thumbnail to clean under my nails!!! Gross!!! I couldn’t wait to get out of there! The gel is uneven because he’d pull my hands out of the light before it turned off automatically. He didn’t polish any edges of my nails, not even close to the cuticle. Last, if you don’t pay with cash, you’re charged an extra 2.75%. Could have told me that when I made my appointment. I was looking forward to pampering myself a little, and it turned out to be an awful experience. So, just don’t.

Based on the reviews and replies from the Owners, this place has horrible customer service and should be ashamed. Everyone I know has nothing but bad things to say about Tipsy Nails & Spa in West Bend. My mother, girlfriend and others have called this place a joke and the workers are rude and unprofessional. You’re best to go somewhere else and save your money.

If you need a specific design, Angie is the absolute best I’ve ever had, she can do the most intricate designs and they always look amazing. don’t even think twice, just go here and you wont regret it.
