Reason for the 3 stars: This place is good for a hairstyle but they do not specialize in hair health. As a repeat customer I had to stop going here because my daughters hair had gotten severe heat damage because of them blow drying the hair. I stopped going and her hair has regained its natural curl pattern back. She now sees a professional hairstylist to maintain her healthy hair. This place is only good for a hairstyle there are no professional hairstylists here that specialize in hair health along with the style. Go for the style but do not expect healthy hair maintenance. The booking is subpar it could be better. However the customer service is great and the place is always clean, the staff are friendly and this place did a great job during Covid with their process and procedures. Now I would definitely recommend having a birthday party here! The hostesses did great and it ran super smooth and it’s just one of the cutest parties ever!

My daughter spent the day at the salon recently. ♀️ And it was her first appointment at Tiny Textures and she was a bit anxious. See she is very tender-headed, I mean VERY VERY tender-headed and usually there are tears when she gets her hair done. But her beautician Tasha made sure everything was perfect and there were no tears! Tasha was very gentle and comforting. And I could tell my daughter enjoyed the experience. Fast forward ⏩ to today. I checked my daughter’s bookbag and to my surprise, she she captured her experience at Tint Textures in art form. From the steamer, Tasha in pink, her in blue, and the unicorn wall where she took a picture. If you are in need of a salon for your babies, do yourself and them a favor and take them to Tiny Textures. They now also have one in Williamsburg.

I loved my experience getting my hair braided here! Usually it hurts so much and there are tears when I get my hair braided. But here my stylist (Miss Regina) was so gentle and kind to me! Also I got to use a tablet to play games and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that they don’t use combs here makes it so much less painful. I would 100% Recommend getting hair done here! ❤️

I take my daughter here to have her hair braided on a regular basis and it’s such a treat!! The space is so cute and kid friendly. The stylists are so patient and kind with the kids. My daughter gets excited every time we go and she leaves with her hair looking great!!!

when this place first opened i loved it. the stylist were super friendly and i was always satisfied with my daughter’s hair, but lately things have changed. at first i was thinking it was because of COVID but now i believe it is the owner. why is it that this place has such a big turn around with stylist? i can never go to the same person twice because when it is time to book again they are gone. the prices are HIGH. i understand that inflation is a thing but come on. then i feel like the cancellation policy needs to be revisited. i understand that when someone cancels your losing money but you have to remember you are working with children…they get sick. my daughter tested positive for covid and i got her results on a Tuesday night. she was showing no symptoms so i didn’t not cancel her appointment until it was confirmed. when i called to cancel her Wednesday appointment (as soon as they opened)i was charged half of the style. well would you rather me bring her in contagious? love the idea of this place just wish someone would be brave enough to open a similar shop with better management.

Ms. Regina the owner is so professional and friendly and she braids very well if you happen to get her:) My favorite stylist is Latasha, her braids are so neat and shes so friendly and welcoming. My goodness what a treasure trove! I stumbled up upon them and am so impressed. The owner is California native as I. Her management style is kind, patience. This salon is lifting young children via their overall personal upkeep, confidence and responsible maintenance. Young teen girls work together to create an unforgettable experience not only for the birthday girls, but for all whom love them. The owner greets with a smile. Finding a pliable and talented beautician a d loctician in this area for kids is so awesome and inspiring. I’ve only met her the 1 time and I’m sold. Try it, you’ll like it! All styles available from locs to braids to heat styles, all natural hair and more! Too bad I’m bald headed or I’d go to her, TOO!

We came for the 2nd time today for my daughter’s haircut. They were pretty full with their schedule when we called for an appt, but they called us back about an available appt and we took it. The ladies are super friendly and professional. The salon is clean and organized. They took our temperature at the door and asked us to wash our hands [great covid precautions]. Desire was our stylist. She did an amazing job with our daughter haircut. She cut it exactly how we wanted. Thanks for your amazing service!

VERY HARD TO BOOK APPOINTMENTS HERE. I check randomly and often and no matter what I can never get an appointment online. Also closed Sundays which is tough for some parents bc we work all week and the weekends are free for us to take care of things, Sundays would be ideal. With proper STAFFING, you CAN BE OPEN!
