I spoke to the owner almost a week in advance for this appointment. I asked what time was the first appointment, she said 10am, so I said ok, I’ll do 10am. She was not on time for my appointment nor was she even at the shop, the door was locked when I got there. When I called her at 10:04am to see how long she was going to be, she says she’s on her way and to give her some time. I told her that she wasn’t giving good first impressions and when I started to say something else, she just hung up on me. So I called her back and told her I don’t want my appointment anymore and that she was very unprofessional. I don’t like how she treated me, as a first time customer nor the fact that she was not at her shop in time to open her business. I will find somewhere else to go for my eyebrow tint that will appreciate as a customer and a human being.

Her work is good, ethic is not. I expect for a business to run as such and when there is an appointment set, it should be honored – namely when confirmed verbally the same day. I wasn’t overly upset that someone was in the chair when I arrived and she finished with her, but then she proceeded to work on another person. There is no point in having an option to set an appointment to be disregarded without apology. I drove a decent distance and wasted my break for nothing. Go to new york thread and be treated with respect.

After searching online for a good place near me, I discovered Thread’in Shape. It was one of the few places around that seemed to provide decent threading services. I had my eyebrows done by the owner who is such a pleasure to speak to. She did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and took her time to get every last hair from my lip threading as well. I was very pleased and will be returning again. Prices are also very good! Highly Recommend!

I’ve never had my brows look this good! It was my first time threading, and Nina was amazing!!! I went about a week and a half ago and nothing has grown back. My face is completely changed-she really does know how to face map and shape your brows to best fit your face.
