I wasn’t sure what to expect coming to the Warehouse Salon as I’d never come here before. The location is not the best for parking but I managed and only had to pay 34$ for the ticket I received (I should have paid better attention). The staff all seemed like they knew what they are doing. The stylist (I’ll add her name here once I find her card) did a wonderful job.

As always, the staff here is fantastic! I was taken care of by Brandi and had a good time talking with her throughout my appointment, the pricing is very fair. The space itself is always very clean and stylish. My only knock is parking is a bit of a challenge but that’s less on the business and more because of the development downtown. Haircut, Hairstyling

Meh. I really loved my stylist here and the atmosphere but they added a cancellation policy that’s 50% if you don’t cancel 24 hours in advance and 100% if you’re a no show. Went out and bought myself a pair of hair cutting scissors and haven’t looked back.

Critical: Quality, ValueI paid 165 for my hair color to look almost the same when I went in to fix the old balayage. And the haircut is what upset me the most wasn’t till I got home that I realized how bad it looked! I didn’t ask for a dry blunt cut and you can’t see the “layers”. Olivia has moved from Mark of Distinction! The digs is downtown, very modern yet not a feel of being pretentious. The salon retained some of the original building’s features. Of course I will go wherever Olivia goes! Olivia adds her special touch during the shampoo process…stress relieving scalp massage.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityIf you value your hair do NOT go to this salon!! I went in for an all over color, face framing money pieces and a cut and it has been my worst hair nightmare! In the photos you can see what I started with, the color I asked for ( along with money piece highlights) and what I walked away with. I had range roots, yellow slices and my mids and ends went even darker than what I started with, and to make it all worse the cut was drastically uneven that other people even commented to me.Think it can’t get worse? The Salon flat out refused to fix it because they would be taking a loss!! (see text below). When I left my appt the stylist and I had discussed fixing it later in the week and she told me she wouldn’t charge me until then, today I called the salon saying I did not want to get the stylist in trouble but I want someone else to fix it instead. Their response was if I wanted it fixed it would have to be with that stylist but they could request supervision and they had to speak with their owner about it and call me back. I replied that I could live with that as long as we fixed it even if it resulted in something other than what I originally wanted. I have never been more humiliated walking into my place of work and receiving feedback that validated my feeling on how this turned out.They do NOT care about you or your hair, I have been going to Aveda Salons happily for a the past few years and if this is the new Aveda Standard I am appalled.Service: Hair coloringIf you value your hair do NOT go to this salon!!
