Got my hair highlighted and trimmed. It took 5 hours. Now I have long hair but it went 2 hours over the appointment time. Not sure if that is normal. The highlights are really well done I will say that. I’m really upset that it looks like they cut a piece way too short. She said do you want long layers I said sure she said do you want it shorted towards your face I said no. One side has layers and looks fine and this is the other side. Also to my suprised was charged almost $50 more than what they told me it would be after my consultation. Just frustrated that it looks like this for what I paid.

I lived in Austin over 10 years ago looking for a salon most of that time! I finally found her (Anna). She was fantastic! Then I moved to Brandon Mississippi last April and haven’t had it cut until making an appointment for tomorrow! I’m so excited for this appointment! I rated a 5 star rating because of the past and for tomorrow because I know it’s going to be great! It always is! Happy New year everyone! Can’t wait to see you tomorrow Anna!!

My experience was excellent! It’s located in a very cool historic building. It’s clean. The woman who did my root touch up and hair cut was so friendly, very skilled and knowledgeable and she gave me a break down of the cost up front. I paid $100 less here than I did at another salon for the same thing. This was less time consuming and less painful. I’m definitely going here from now on!

I got a haircut there and it is probably the worst haircut I have ever had. I trimmed it myself 1 month prior to going to this salon, , and it was a request to even it out and layer it. It looks terrible, it is too short in the back, and it is uneven. The right side is longer than the left side, it is visible. Hairdresser left chunks of the hair sticking out in the back, I had to point it out to her, so she made it somewhat even, but still one side is shorter than the other. The front is not layered at all, it is just cut straight, not textured.Basically, it looks like a bowl haircut. The hairdresser styled it after cutting it, so it didn’t look that bad, and then after the first shampoo and just looks horrible. I was charged 58 dollars. I left voicemail at the salon asking for my money back, I will probably never get a refund, we will see after the holidays if they even return my call. I don’t get it- they told me this lady has been cutting hair for 11 years how can you do something like this is beyond me

A family friend referred me here and I’m so glad I went! My hair was a mess that needed LOVE, and my five-year-old daughter was with me to get her first haircut. Kimberly cut my hair and it is so cute and light now. My daughter was being very wiggly and silly, and Kimberly did a great job with her and her hair as well. We’ll definitely be going back!

Not many stylists can cut very straight hair really well and after moving to Round Rock it took me almost 2 years to find the right person. That person was Kimberly at The Studio! She is a real professional…listened very closely to what I wanted, is very skilled at what she does and definitely is a perfectionist to make sure your hair is the way you want it (I know because I am too!!) The salon itself is clean and spacious. The front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating if you have to change appointments. And the prices are sooo reasonable compared to what I was paying in Austin. Overall…I’d give Jennifer at The Studio 1000 stars if I could!!!

Critical: QualityTook a chance on this place because of the reviews, and the fact that I live so close to it. However, I won’t be going back.The staff is friendly and the place is clean and organized. Two stars for that. Also, I was a walk in, and fortunately didn’t have to wait that long. I took my little girls in to get their bangs cut, and I regret it. Their was no proper sectioning done prior to the cut. it’s as if the hair was simply brushed forward and cut as is. I’m no hair expert, but every bang cut I’ve had, and seen, the stylist sections the hair so that the cut is even/symmetrical in all three front points. It kind of looks like I cut their hair unfortunately. I remember telling the stylist that I did not want the bangs too full on both my daughters, and yeah that was an issue too, for one of them. You can see when their hair is in a pony tail how bad the cut actually is. I’m just glad that’s all they got done and that they are small enough that they do not care.
