I truly cannot say enough about our awesome experience today. My 11 year old has been losing hair, had lots of broken ends, despite regular trims. She has been so upset. Not only did Nicole work my daughter in to her schedule, she totally took her expertise and brought her hair back to life! She had numerous suggestions, and ideas on products to help in the future as well. We left smiling and super thankful! Hands down, I highly recommend the Scissor Room and their fabulous team!

Critical: QualityNatalie was told THREE separate times what we wanted done with my daughter’s hair. She did the EXACT opposite. I was not allowed to go back with my daughter because “of covid”. When I called to make the appointment, I clearly stated that my daughter had grown her natural color out for HALF OF A YEAR!!! AND THAT WE DID NOT WANT DYE ON IT. We wanted a trim and color correction on the previously dyed hair, which is clearly listed as a service offered on the website.Well, guess what, Natalie put dark brown hair dye on her new growth!!!!!! When she was finished, she told her that it “suited her better than her natural color” What?????? I didn’t ask her to do what she thought best. I told her, as did my daughter, what we wanted done. For that matter, I could have done what she did!!I was utterly speechless when I saw what she had done.I have called four times to receive some sort of explanation as to why she did this. I waited to do this review hoping she would explain herself and I would not be forced to bring this situation public. It has been almost two weeks and Lea was the only one who took my call, listened to me and tried to provide an explanation/solution. My first experience at this salon went very well! I am very pleased with my cut and the experience I had. It isn’t easy finding a salon with such friendly welcoming staff, the salon itself is very cozy! The Scissor Room will definitely be the only salon I go to for now on. The owner Nicole cut my hair and styled it and did an amazing job and she was super friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend The Scissor Room!

I came here for a consultation regarding coloring for my hair as I have developed a severe allergy to dark hair dye. After explaining the situation over the phone with the receptionist I was contacted within an hour by the stylist asking me more questions. Something I have never gotten from anyone else regarding this. Kaylyne did a patch test with the toner she will use for my hair (thankfully no reaction), spent time looking at my hair and coming up with a plan to go grey. Looking forward to my appointment in 10 days.

Very happy with my experiences at the Scissor Room! I have been seeing Kaylyne for a few months for both nails and hair. I’m not the easiest client to serve (I never know what I want it seems) and she does a great job coming up with ideas and helping me decipher what it is I’m looking for. Clean, trendy salon, affordable prices for the services, nice staff, etc. Definitely worth trying!

I have been going to the Scissor Room for haircuts since we moved into the area, so about two years. I’ve gone to other local barber shops and while they are okay, they don’t quite have the attention to detail that the ladies here have. They do a great job, my haircuts are always clean, my neck clean shaven, everything is very sanitary and she always leaves my eyebrows looking good. I usually see Kaylyne and she does an awesome job! Highly recommend!!
