I visited The Salon at Studio B for the first time yesterday and I had a great experience with Belinda. I went in for a “sunlight express” highlight and cut. I have dark hair so went in knowing it’d be a subtle color change which is all I really wanted. The color came out great and looks like I have copper highlights and my cut was nice and simple; just wanted to tidy up what I already had. Belinda was super knowledgeable on ways to better care for my hair and recommending products to shop around for and where to find them. The salon space itself is cozy and calm — really made the experience more relaxing.

Belinda is knowledgeable and strives to ensure that my needs and preferences were met. My cut and colors are fabulous and I am ready to meet the world with this new me. I’m soo upset she left from Upstate NY and I can’t imagine anyone ever coming close to what she did for not only my hair but overall look. She took the time to try and discern what color tones will suit me best and cut. She gave me tips on how to cut, style, etc. And the first actual stylist that gave me an impressive consultation… something crucial I search for as someone who takes her curl health seriously. I was able to not only style my hair curly but also straight without noticing any damage to my hair. I had an outstanding experience with Belinda today. After living out of state for many years, I did a lot of review searches to find a salon in the Watertown area and I can tell you that Belinda has earned every positive review posted. (We moved back to the area 18 months ago… it has taken me this long to work up the courage to try a new salon and stylist after many disappointing experiences elsewhere!) Belinda is extremely knowledgeable about hair health, coloring and cutting techniques. My consultation was very thorough. I had a picture of the cut I wanted and Belinda explained how my current cut (or lack thereof) would lend to what I was trying to achieve. We talked about the options and agreed on a cut that would work best… no small feat for someone with naturally wavy/curly hair who wears it both natural and straightened. Belinda was incredibly friendly and professional and gave me a cut and style that I LOVE. It is no exaggeration to say that I no longer need to search for a stylist here in Watertown. I would recommend Belinda to everyone and I will definitely be going back, myself!
