My 3 year old son is autistic. We had his hair cut somewhere the supposedly handles autistic children. Needless to say, she traumatized him at 1 yr old and has been scared ever since. For two years I’ve been working with him at home getting his haircut little by little with clippers and scissors. After two years, today we finally decided to take him in to The Real Deal barbershop and Big Rich was who we made our appointment with. He was so amazing with our son and made him feel so at ease. Showed my son the clippers and let him feel what it was like when the clippers were turned on. Took his time and was ever so gentle with our son. By the time he was done, our son wanted to get his hair cut again. I told him we had to make another appointment. He was so bummed he wasn’t going back in to get more hair cut off. Big Rich, you are truly an amazing person. We will forever continue to make his appointments with you. I highly recommend this place.

Having moved to the area 4 years ago and referred to this place by a friend this is definitely a great barbershop excellent barbers always have pride in their work and you will always leave happy from this place. Neil the owner is great as are Tone and Big Rich. Whenever need to get a cut in a rush there is always time to get in no matter what.

Excellent service! First time visiting and was not disappointed. My 6 year old hates getting his hair cut and we’ve always cut his hair at home but today we decided it was time to take him to the barber shop. Big Rich did a fantastic job and put my son at ease. He handled him with care and concern and was very patient with him. Now, he only wants his hair cut by Big Rich. We will definitely be coming back. Would recommend the real deal barber shop to anyone!

After reading the reviews, I decided to take my nephew here to get his hair fixed (he thought it would be a good idea to cut his own hair at home, it wasn’t).
