The Mad Zapper (Chablis) has been the most accommodating, professional and kind person in general, but on top of that has the best electrolysis skills around. I was very hesitant to begin electrolysis because I have heard mixed reviews on it’s longevity and final results but once you get the courage to do it, and you fine the right electrologist like I have-you have nothing to worry about! Electrolysis can be a very vulnerable environment if you don’t find someone as empathetic as Chablis but I didn’t doubt a thing once meeting I met her in person. My first impression was that she is extremely educated and passionate in what she does. Prior to meeting Chablis I had looked up what the electrolysis process might be like but she still made sure to thoroughly explain to me what to expect, possible side effects (minimal) and any after care/at home remedies so that I completely understood what exactly to expect moving forward. Chablis is easily able to be contacted and is extremely quick to respond, day or night! I drive an hour to see her for every session and it is totally worth it. I have to admit that even if she moved away, I would make the trip to see her for my electrolysis needs. Chablis takes her time and you can tell truly cares about your end results. She does everything she can to make you feel comfortable and feel no shame no matter how hairy you are! I have already told all of my friends and family about how shockingly pleased I have been throughout my electrolysis journey thus far and I can’t imagine going to anybody else for something so personal. The only bad thing (that I have to be honest about) is that once she works her magic, the electrolysis begins working and the hair you’re having removed begins to thin and fade away…so will your time spent in sessions with Chablis. I truly believe that electrolysis is an art and Chablis is the BEST artist around! 10/10!

She does not only perform the hair removal but will educate you along the way and recommends products that will enhance skin healing. The clinic environment is very clean and calming. I love the music, which helps relax the body while you receive your treatment. I have experienced incredible results. I have gone to several different electrolysis places over many years, and going to the Mad Zapper has been one of the very best experiences. Chablis takes her business very seriously, and her professionalism makes me feel comfortable. Chablis service is phenomenal. I was looking for someone closer to home to take care of my facial hair issues that was a daily struggle in my life. I was calling other specialists who were snippy on the phone or treated me like another number BUT from the moment I spoke with Chablis over the phone I knew she was someone who was professional ,trustworthy, and CARES FOR HER CLIENTS. Chablis is absolutely amazing. I had an embarrassing amount of upper lip and chin hair, and I started seeing Chablis about two months ago. I’m talking shave my chin every other day or else there would be stubble. I’ve done laser hair removal over the years and while it worked more on my upper lip, and would work in the short term for chin hair, it just wasn’t cutting it. After just one session with Chablis I saw an incredible difference – the hair that had grown back was finer and SO much less in quantity. I have been about 5 times since and truly this has changed my life. I’m no longer stroking my chin l daily feeling for hairs or cringing every time I see my facial hair In the car mirror (if you know you know). Not to mention, Chablis is so kind, sweet, and funny. I’ve talked about my wedding planning with her and she’s shared about her future vacations. It is a bit of a drive for me, Baltimore city to Westminster, but it is truly worth every penny and minute in the car. I’m really looking forward to my next sessions to zap these hairs for good!

The “Mad Zapper” Chablis is awesome. She does her best to make the torturous process as easy and painless as possible. She learns your sensitive areas quickly, and will switch areas if the pain gets too bad. She plays ambient music that gives you something else to focus on. If all else fails, she also provides some numbing cream for a small fee (it’s worth it). I can’t imagine choosing anyone else while she’s around.

I can truly say that my confidence has grown so much since going to The Mad Zapper! I have been dealing with unwanted facial hair for so long and this time around I wasn’t going to deal with it anymore. I’m so glad I found out about electrolysis. With all of my heart, I cannot recommend Chablis more than I already do!!! She has given me so much confidence and hope for the future. I’ve not been going very long so far and I am already seeing improvements. I was so depressed after having hormone related hair growth on my face, but I finally see a way out of this with her help. I can finally begin to feel like a lady again :,) …. She is so attentive, so accommodating, and most of all so understanding of each person’s needs. I feel absolutely no shame or embarrassment opening up to her about my hair struggles. The pain is worth it with a professional like this. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
