I had a wonderful experience at The Hamilton Barber Shop. I went to the female barber – I believe her name was Jessica – and she was super friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. Often, you go to a barber for a bald fade, and they give you the quickest fade possible and shove you out the door. I was impressed, and I will definitely return.

Nice, clean interior. Went there on a Saturday. Barber was all business and did a great job on getting my hair and beard trimmed down for my interview. Would definitely go back again. Don’t go looking for a social experience here, as the only words exchanged were when I told him what I wanted and when I asked for change after the job.

For the guys at Colgate, I would recommend this barber. The guy running the store is quite professional and knows how to cut men’s hair which the downtown salon sadly cannot. Over the last three years, this owner is tied with my barber back home for giving a good haircut and beats him on pricing. One caveat: Try to avoid haircuts around breaks and holidays because his shop fills up.

Walked in and barber was immediately offsetting and rude. Haircut wasn’t poorly done but he didn’t listen to what I wanted when I told him to only take a bit off the top. He proceeded to take almost all of the top off, over half the length. Do not go here, there are better barbers in Hamilton.
