I had such a positive experience at The Hair Spa last week. Kris was so sweet and welcoming, she made me feel right at home. I actually didn’t even have an appointment but got lucky she had an opening pop up while I was dropping my mom off. Kris took her time consulting about my hair history and discussing my goals before we got started. Then she dove into foiling, I can’t believe how much better and brighter my hair looks after only a partial highlight and some glaze! Arlett finished my look off with the *perfect* flippy blowout and this photograph is my proof. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and am so happy with the end result. My mom loved how her hair came out as well. It was quite the transformation by Lisa, who was very friendly too. Excellent salon, we’ll both be back!

The spa is beautiful and clean and has a relaxed ambience. I have had a good experience there in the past with Kristen. Unfortunately today I had a really awful experience. I went to get a haircut done by Arlette and assumed that even this though she’s a level 1 stylist I could rely on her skills for a basic haircut since she was hired by this nice salon. I asked for straight bottom and a slight face frame. She cut off half my hair in the front until way behind my ears! It looks like a pixie cut from the front when I had asked for below the shoulder and then suddenly the back is a slightly longer length completely disconnected. Besides for that she cut way shorter than I had asked for in the back as well. For such a basic haircut I would expect any stylist at this salon to be up for the job. I don’t know how they could have hired her and allow people to book with her. I’m disappointed that this upscale hair salon doesn’t make sure their stylists have the basic skills.

Had a poor experience with a hairstylist Lisa who rushed me off and told me she would only cut my hair and not blow dry it because she wanted to leave and go home. This was such unprofessional behavior because of how she spoke to me and about me in front of me (unknowingly). I said no to only get the haircut and was condescendingly asking me if I was sure, and then left. I didn’t need someone who was rushing and in bad spirits cutting my hair. This interaction left me unsettled and emotional. The front office manager saw the interaction and apologized and offered a reschedule with a discount but at that point I was upset and all I could say was “no,it’s ok.” Thank you to the front office manager and the other hairstylist for trying to support. There’s good professional people who work there; however this distasteful and Unprofessional interaction with Lisa will lead me to no longer being a customer.

I just had got my hair dyed by Arlette today and I completely love it. She had taken her time to ask me what color I wanted and asked if going a shade darker was okay to cover the previous hair color I had which I was fine with. She had taken her time dying my hair and making sure everything was covered and even. I will be coming back for further hair coloring with Arlette. Totally in awe with my new color.
