Melissa made me feel so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep during my appointment. To some, that may be normal, but to my tender head, this is an absolute miracle. Nearly every hair appointment I’ve ever had left me holding back a tear or two because of the pain. But not Melissa! She got me in on very short notice and was very attentive and professional. Going to get my hair cut is no longer the bain of my existence! Melissa made me feel so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep during my appointment. To some, that may be normal, but to my tender head, this is an absolute miracle. Nearly every hair appointment I’ve ever had left me holding back a tear or two because of the pain. But not Melissa! Critical: ProfessionalismI debated writing this review as I’ve had so many pleasant experiences here over the past six year, recommend people to The Hair Company, and had my hair done beautifully, so this review is solely for Kym Gid. Today I went in for an appointment and was unfortunately met with one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had at any business in my entire life. After I was seated, we discussed what I wanted and how my hair dyes and takes color. She went to the back to mix the color and proceeded to talk about me in the back to a colleague. I was in absolute shock at first! As I continued to listen to her talk about me, I decided it was best for me to leave at that point. I stood up and told Daphne to let Kym know not to mix color for my hair as I was leaving. I didn’t like the way I was being talked about. Kym, I fully understand people talk about people, but at least wait until they are gone or can’t hear you. I debated writing this review as I’ve had so many pleasant experiences here over the past six year, recommend people to The Hair Company, and had my hair done beautifully, so this review is solely for Kym Gid. Today I went in for an appointment and was unfortunately met with one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had at any business in my entire life.
